Silent Hill 2 Remake is full of easter eggs, from Douglas Cartland's hat to a TV repeating a message in morse code and a suspicious hole in the bathroom wall. But it's a notice board that has piqued fans' interest this time.
At first glance, it looks like a bog-standard list of attractions for any tourist visiting the town, but each of them is actually a location from the original game — Toluca Lake, Lakeside Amusement Park, The Lighthouse, and Old Silent Hill.
Not only does this notice board give us an idea of what these iconic locations could look like in a more modern game, but fans have gone as far as to suggest that this might be teasing another remake.
"The SH1 references feel a little more than just fun easter eggs," Reddit user Kulle1369 explained. "Directly advertising the locations from SH1 and directly connecting one of the new endings (Bliss) to the subplot from 1. Maybe I'm reading too [much] into it but one can hope, right?"
