The latest PlayStation Plus update has added 12 new games to the mix, making for a total of 15 new games that were made available to Premium subscribers in December 2024. Most of the time, all the new PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium games are added on the same day of the month, but December 2024 was an exception.
Three games were added to the Premium tier of PS Plus on December 10, a full week in advance of the usual update. On that day, in celebration of PlayStation's 30th Anniversary, PS Plus Premium subscribers were treated to three excellent classics from the PS2 era. Sly 2: Band of Thieves, Sly 3: Honor Among Thieves, and Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy were all added to the classics catalog. Notably, Jak and Daxter came with a brand-new trophy list for players to complete, which is incentive for those who have already completed the game on other platforms to give it yet another go.
PlayStation Plus subscribers can revisit one of 2023's most polarizing titles starting December 17, offering it a much-needed second chance at life.
