Sony has revealed a surprise sale exclusively for PlayStation Plus members, and some of the titles are highly acclaimed recent releases. This sale will end on December 19, 2024, with significant price cuts across different game genres. Some of the highlighted titles with discounts include Grand Theft Auto V for $19.99, Red Dead Redemption 2 for $19.79, and Resident Evil Village for $15.99, but several of the exact prices can only be seen if the user has an active PlayStation Plus membership.
Other popular titles included are Hogwarts Legacy, Dragon Age: The Veilguard, and Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, among many others. While there are rumors that this sale may open up to all PlayStation Store users after December 19, Sony has yet to confirm this.
According to a recent Reddit post by excaliburps, Sony has done sales like this in the past and opened it up for all users after the initial sale has gone live, according to commenter shadowglint. Other users agreed with this statement, saying they received an email that may confirm the sale will eventually open up to the public, but it may be a while before then.
