Fortnite may have a surprise building up with Mariah Carey, who is thought to be encased in ice on the battle royale map. Mariah Carey has long been an ongoing meme during the holidays, due to her hit Christmas song, “All I Want for Christmas is You.” The joke goes on with the implication that she is encased in ice until the holiday season to share her song with the world. Fortnite has had several major crossovers for many years now, with nothing and no one seemingly being off the table at this point.
The next Fortnite Winterfest starts on December 20 and lasts until January 7. These events usually have some type of reward system in exchange for playing the game. Most, if not all, of the cosmetics rewarded are holiday themed. Supposedly, a new NPC is coming this year as well that may surprise Fortnite fans with extra gifts.
