Red Dead Redemption 2 is getting a new Outlaw Pass today in Red Dead Online, bringing with it 100 tiers of new cosmetic items, camp upgrades, and gold bars. Rockstar had been quiet about a second Outlaw Pass after the debut of the optional content reached its natural end weeks ago, but with a new trailer out today, they've suddenly revealed Outlaw Pass No. 2. See for yourself in the new trailer below.

The Outlaw Pass can be purchased within the game with gold bars or on the store pages for the game, costing $10 either way. The event period ends on March 3, 2020.

Along with this optional paid content comes a new free update in the form of the Moonshiners update. This new content allows players to play a new, fourth role in the game as a bootlegging businessperson, running a moonshine distillery out of a shack. It comes as a sort of evolution of the previous Trader role, and requires players to be at least a level 5 Trader before getting into business as a Moonshiner. The Moonshiner role comes with its own story and progression loop, just like the three previous roles, Trader, Bounty Hunter, and Collector.

Along with new content, today's patch also includes several quality-of-life changes, including the ability to assign preferred weapons to a "Quick Select" slot, allowing you to quickly swap to your favorite weapon even when it's not the most recent weapon used. Ability cards have also been reworked to improve balancing and horses are now sturdier, and quicker to rise to their hooves after a fall. At long last, you can now finally choose to spawn at your camp upon entering an instanced game.

Red Dead Redemption 2 launched on October 26 on Xbox One and PS4 to nearly perfect scores around the world. It has an OpenCritic average of 96 from 188 critics. It launched on PC on November 5 and Google Stadia on November 19 of this year.
