NimNimNimbus Ghost of Yotei Review

A beautifully executed game with a major flaw. I say major flaw, but in the grand scheme of the game, it is not enough to bring the entirety of it down. From exceptional performance and graphics to phenomenal art style and aesthetic, this game sets the bar for what an immersive open world should feel like. Along with satisfying gameplay and a variety of customization options, Ghost of Yotei offers so much to the player. The story is good too, BUT Atsu... she never moved me in any way as the protagonist. I felt no moments where I could emotionally connect to her. It doesn't help that her English VA performance was also bland as well. And unfortunately, it lasted all the way to the end of the game. With good bits in between, but not enough.
