Northwind Magic: The Gathering Arena Review

The game play would be fantastic if the system would learn how to shuffle a deck of cards. It shuffles like I did in my youth when I first started using sleeves. I somehow end up mana screwed or mana swamped every single match. Cards that I have two of in my deck, I will have both in my opening hand almost every match. The pricing on the store is also absolutely ridiculous. For those costs, they should be sending us a physical copy of every pack that we buy. So far, I am really not impressed. That said, it is nice to be able to play again. I have very few people around me that share my interest in the game. In that regard, I would recommend it. That's about the extent that I would entertain this game though. It will spend more time frustrating you than entertaining you.

Amen Long time MTG player and the shuffler is atrocious. The only way to get a real shuffle is to mulligan, which sends you off at a disadvantage right off. Confirmed on the multiples of card duos in decks. Have that happen to me 70% of the time. Wind up conceding most of my matches out of consideration for the other persons time. Why have them waste minutes deciding how to play their wincon when all I can do is flop on the table with no lands or all lands.
