VGLizard's Reviews
Onimusha: Way of the Sword is a fantastic comeback to a classic franchise. Its story is darker and at the same time funnier than I expected, Musashi is a protagonist I genuinely grew to love, and the combat is a real highlight: methodical, demanding and incredibly rewarding once its systems click, with bosses that are as memorable as they are fun to fight. It’s not without flaws, but none of the negatives take away from what matters most. Whether you’re coming back after twenty-odd years or picking up your very first Onimusha, this one is well worth drawing your sword for.
Castlevania: Belmont's Curse feels like a love letter to a beloved series, while also managing to maintain its own distinct identity. Great platforming elements, fun and snappy combat and some great nods from the games of the past, this is a game that's incredibly easy to recommend!
Kusan: City of Wolves is a very fun top-down action game, with an addictive gameplay loop, a killer soundtrack and a surprisingly good story. If you’re a fan of fast paced gameplay with a dose of John Wick-ness added to it, give this game a go!
