9 / 10.0 - Indivisible
May 11, 2020

Indivisible is just as good as it ever was, and the visuals hold up well on the Nintendo Switch. The story is engrossing, the gameplay is challenging yet fun, and the hand drawn environments are beautiful.

9 / 10.0 - Arcade Spirits
May 9, 2020

A visual novel happy to include everyone, with a message of togetherness and characters you want to spend time with. The arcade setting is charming, and the writing is impeccable. An easy recommendation to anyone interested in dating sims, the arcade scene, or romantic (or platonic) love.

Someday You'll Return has some incredible atmosphere, but ultimately fails to scare due to some poor, forced stealth sections and tiresome crafting mechanics.

An odd combination of George Orwell's 1984, puzzle platforming and comedy, which doesn't blend as well as you'd hope. As good as the setting is, it doesn't make up for the rigid platforming or out of place jokes.

Predator: Hunting Grounds is adecent asymmetrical online shooter, despite lacking the polish of bigger, more established games. Although there aren't a lot of modes, and load times to play as the Predator are too long, it's still a lot of fun.

8 / 10.0 - Fury Unleashed
Apr 28, 2020

Apart from some at times tiny writing on the Switch handheld, Fury Unleashed looks sublime, has riffage for days, and represents an excellent run and gun wormhole to disappear down.

5 / 10.0 - Daymare: 1998

Designed as an homage to 90s horror, Daymare: 1998 tries too hard to mimic its inspiration when it should have focused on being its own game.

While the new Survival mode offers an intense, permadeath experience and the new enemies are great, Swamps of Corsus doesn't quite do enough to expand upon the main game.

Deliver Us The Moon is a fantastic sci-fi thriller which looks amazing with a soundtrack to match. It's slightly let down by sluggish controls and long loading and saving screens, but makes up for it with a compelling story that leaves you desperate to find out what happened during the Blackout event.
