If I want serious adult drama, I'll watch The Walking Dead. But for sheer, unadulterated fun, Dead Rising 3 has my thumbs, eyes, brain and heart. Or, as a zombie would call it, a well-balanced breakfast.
For all its many flaws, Killzone: Shadow Fall deserves kudos for being such a spectacular early example of the PlayStation 4's technical potential, and the game's stunning visual design goes a long way towards offsetting the generic action, silly plot and rage-worthy bottlenecks. I wouldn't want to marry it, but I'd definitely love a hot, short-term relationship.
With the release of Rayman Legends, the Wii U continues the slow, quiet build-up of its arsenal. This game, along with the Wii U's recently announced price drop, may have just become the best reason to get one.
