Just Cause 3 can be a rather fun game, but it's not the sequel we were hoping for. There are some very impressive things to be found within its large-scale and explosive quest, and on its insanely large world of Medici, but technical problems and dated mechanics hold it back from living up to its potential.

Despite never reaching its true potential Xenoblade Chronicles X is still an amazing gaming accomplishment. No other game can provide such a huge world to explore, and one that is filled with variety throughout. If you're willing to embark on the lengthy quest that can easily eat up over 100 hours, and can put up with some technical shortcomings, then Xenoblade Chronicles X is worth picking up. Just be ready to grind.

Yo-Kai watch might seem like another Pokemon clone, but it's anything but. Don't be fooled by its kid-friendly nature; it's chamring, endearing, and one of the best 3DS games of the year.

Built for co-op, Mayan Death Robots has a lot to love in its style and humour and will be best appreciated by fans of Team17's Worms series. Overall, however, the game is too bare to provide players with any more than just a few hours of explosive, strategic action.

It's not quite up there with Funatics' other RTS titles, due to a rather weak aesthetic and lack of player agency, but Valhalla Hills still has a lot of randomly-generated fun in store for fans of the genre.

Hard West has a strong concept and is fun for a while, but because the core gameplay soon becomes monotonous, along with having some awful overworld segments, the game is difficult to recommend.

Mario Tennis: Ultra Smash is a mechanically decent game that is slew-footed by a lack of interesting gameplay modes. There's online play, but outside of that there's nothing of real substance to be found. As such, the game feels light and lacking, and doesn't have the type of hook that one would hope for. It's a shame, really, given how great Mario Tennis used to be.

Although it's been a bit uneven as a whole, Telltale's Game of Thrones series concludes with multiple bangs thanks to a deep and memorable final episode. Multiple outcomes -- including some rather sad ones -- also combine to create a replayable and continually interesting finale.
