The game is a good experience for those looking to get a new platformer since they seem to be so few and far between. Just don't expect anything substantial besides the great humor surrounding this interesting world.
This is definitely a game for fans of any age. There was a lot of love put into it with great detail to its gameplay design.
Despite a straight port, Resident Evil 5 has aged well. There is a good amount of content here which should make the wait easier for Resident Evil 7.
The Technomancer has some interesting hooks but falls by the wayside. With more time, polish and a lot more heart, it could have been something more but this vacation to Mars is imminently uneventful and forgettable.
Mighty No. 9 is not a good video game. It's is loaded down with lots of cool ideas that it never fully explores, and frankly it feels unfinished, unpolished, and unplaytested. It has potential, but right now this game serves as a warning about the dangers of stretch goals and crowdfunding, and only the most die-hard Mega Man fans will find something worthwhile here. Everyone else is better off sticking with the Blue Bomber.
This is far from Frogwares' worst effort till date but Sherlock Holmes: The Devil's Daughter is far from the detective's greatest adventure yet.
Don’t be confused. Umbrella Corps isn’t a bad game because it’s Resident Evil. Umbrella Corps is a bad game because it’s iterative, boring and ugly. The most interesting thing I experienced was when a bird landed on my head and killed me.
Zero Time Dilemma is an immensely satisfying conclusion to what might be one of the best, best told stories in the history of the medium.
Republique first surfaced as an iOS game and the mechanics involved in this new PS4 version seem like the developer did a straight port, rather than take the time to sharpen anything other than the graphics.
MXGP2 has a distinctive crowd and does well to serve it. However, the game does nothing to bring about anything of encouragement for an audience that's now outgrown it's rebellious phase.
One of Platinum Games’ more disappointing offerings – too short and too simplistic.
An excellent fighting engine, superb visuals, incredible teaching tools, and ridiculous design chops make Guilty Gear -REVELATOR- one of the best fighting games around. Those who are happy with -SIGN- may balk at the price, but everyone else, from fans to newcomers, should be more than happy with what's on offer. If you're ready to rock, Guilty Gear is happy to oblige.
Fans of JRPGs, or simply PS4 owners looking for something relaxing to play, will probably find themselves content with Atelier Sophie.
Faith has finally returned with Mirror's Edge Catalyst. Is it a return to form, especially when her "form" was never all that fleshed out to begin with? It's certainly a decent waste of time, worth visiting on and off through the months, but nothing spectacular.
Blood and Wine is every bit as good as you would want Geralt’s final adventure to be.
Hitman is definitely the stealth action game it was promised, and turning the series episodic has really upped how each new chapter is turning out.
Total War: Warhammer provides a fresh take on two of the most compelling strategy and tactical franchises in history, creating an excellent mash-up that's well worth your time.
Shadwen makes no bones about copying from other games. However, with the lack of compelling story-telling and gameplay, it fails to even accommodate interesting mechanics that other games handle better.
Overwatch heralds a brave new age for hero shooters, competitive multiplayer shooters and just shooters in general. It's a unique yet fun experience that's accessible to all and flawless with its execution.
Far Harbor doesn't reinvent the wheel but it does add some compelling gameplay and a good story to Fallout 4. Take the trip up north - you may find a reason or two to hang around.
