Arkham Knight is a great end to a fantastic series and is definitely a contender for game of the year.
Project Cars not only sets the standard for new gen racing games, it redefines them. From its authentic gameplay to the little quirks thrown in, it will keep you entertained for hours and hours on end. If you are new to the genre, it’s a great start. If you aren’t, it’s a great addition. So what are you waiting for?

Lifeless Planet makes a great attempt to bring an original concept to life but fails to deliver in key areas.
Assassin's Creed Chronicles: China stands out on its own as a 2.5D action-platformer side-scroller with incredible presentation and seamless gameplay. While the story is lacking, the game plays exceptionally well.
This is an excellent fighter with a solid narrative and a lot of variety to offer. The carnage is *beyond* overwhelming though.
Kalimba is a must-play for anyone who grew up playing games like Super Mario World and Kirby. This spiritual game effectively captures the spirit of the difficult traversing of a platformer mixed with a brilliant swapping puzzle mechanic that works without fail.
I am Bread is an odd indie game that will have you manipulating your environment to light your world on fire. Well designed levels and a subtle but entertaining story round out a worthwhile physics game.
Pillars of Eternity is an incredible game, rich with content and heart. If you decide to jump in, make sure you clear your schedule first.

DKCTF is a quality game that was released to both capitalize on the sleeper-success that was DKCR on the Wii and fill a gap in the Wii U's release schedule. While I cannot cite any glaring flaws in the game, the parts of the game that excite me most are more cosmetic than substantiative. Nevertheless, I do recommend this latest entry in the Donkey Kong franchise for fans of DK and platform games in general—just know that this isn't the next Mario Galaxy.
