New Tales from the Borderlands won't be the spiritual sequel that so many fans were hoping for. More technically accomplished, the game adapts a formula that has been out of date for years without managing to bring any real flavor to it. It has the merit of making us laugh for about ten hours, without ever managing to be as memorable, enjoyable and delirious as its predecessor.

It's impossible not to fall under spell of Bayonetta 3. More extravagant, frenetic, rich, varied and with even more monstrous and epic bosses, the game is the franchise at its best. However technical weaknesses, the few underwhelming environments and the readability issues can't counter the avalanche of the superlatives. A dance mastered without almost any misstep and a must-have on Switch.

Victoria 3 is an excellent game. Despite its complexity and intransigence, it is a real pleasure to play. A game that we can only recommend to history lovers.

Gotham Knights is one of those games with potential spoiled by a pile of questionable game design choices.

Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection is finally playable on PC and this in good conditions even on small configurations thanks to the addition of awesome technologies like Nvidia DLSS/AMD SFR. A good opportunity to discover two good games in the best possible version.

Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope is a worthy sequel to its predecessor. Everything is finally more fluid, less austere, while keeping the strengths of the first part. In short, a very good title and a real must-have on Nintendo Switch.

A Plague Tale Requiem is a real slap of poetry and beauty. A masterpiece in form and content.

Scorn is a game with a terrific art direction that is directly inspired by the creator of Alien, H.R Giger, but also the works of David Cronenberg. An incredible ode to Hans Ruedi Giger that fails on every other level. Combats aren't good and necessary, and puzzles are too often base on the same mecanic. A VR version could have made the ride perhaps less tedious.

Very ambitious, Dakar Desert Rally is a good game with a pleasant open-world. Sadly the weakness of the AI and physics of the game reduce the fun considerably.

Valkyrie Elysium is an action-oriented spin-off of the famous J-RPG saga, sadly nothing gives full satisfaction. The exploration is very linear despite the gigantic levels. The RPG aspect is reduced to a minimum.

No matter where you stand in the debate, The Last of Us Part 1 is a real punch in the gut. With an outstanding technical performance, a remarkable overhaul of an outdated gameplay, a sublimated atmosphere, even more poignant cinematics and more realistic environments, the remake is more striking and visceral than ever. Naughty Dog offers a familiar and yet fresh look at this cult game. A full-fledged next-gen game, unchanged in its content but transcended by its form, which deserves to be rediscovered sooner or later.

Saints Row had a unique opportunity to come back and be a good summer game. Most of the time, its fun, especially in co-op, thanks to his arcade feel and humour But there are too many flaws and way too many bugs to enjoy the title completely. Maybe some updates could fix things but not entirely.

Visual novel and tactical RPG, with these words you already know if Digimon Survive is for you or not. The game has one of the best stories of the franchise thanks to its dark and mature tones. It's however counterbalanced by many filler moments, empty dialogues and tacticless battles.

Xenoblade Chronicles 3 is a satisfying conclusion to the two previous games. It's a game you devor like an exciting novel, you constantly want to come back, have more. Carried by a mature and captivating scenario, an artistic direction super effective and a refined and complex combat system, the license seems to have finally found its winning formula.

As Duks Falls is a very unique game with a distinctive art style. Off to a strong and gripping start, it loses its touch on the second half. A game you savor like a Netflix show that you can't stop binge-watching.
