Even with more accessibility options, Elden Ring continues to offer a highly challenging experience that will test not only your skills as a player, but also your patience. At the end of the day, we have a game that excels at absolutely everything it does and that shows us that, no matter how refined any formula is, there is always a way to improve it even more.

Building on all the impressive achievements of Zero Dawn, Horizon Forbidden West feels like a natural evolution of the formula, presenting a sophisticated combat system, impressive variety of enemies, hundreds of activities to do, an exciting story that shines for its lore and characters, visual section of true next generation and a world much more explorable and free than that of its predecessor, As well as for certain design commitments, perhaps it makes the exploration more systematic than we would have liked. However, Guerrilla Games is delivering a game that lives up to the enormous expectations that were had and therefore, a clear candidate to become Game of the Year.

OlliOlli World is an extremely fun experience that showcases Roll7's passion for skating. The game is spectacular and shows that this extreme sport still has room in the industry.

King of Fighters XV is definitely one of the best fighting games out there, with a great variation of different characters to choose from. Unfortunately, it also suffers from some terrible design choices especially when trying to make up for the lackluster graphics.

Sifu is one of the best indie games of recent years. The passion that Sloclap clearly had for this project can be felt in every aspect of it. From its story it takes the conventions of the Hong Kong action genre, and gives it an interesting twist, although coming to the conclusion is a bit clumsy; going through its great visual and auditory presentation, which manage to transport us to a world that is based on our reality, but also shows us the corrupted minds of the villains; to its gameplay that nourishes beat'em ups by borrowing a number of concepts from rogue-lites, and adds an original idea. What we see here is top-notch.

Dying Light 2 is a fantastic title that manages to improve almost every aspect of the original game. It is one of the most ambitious and beautiful open world games I have ever played, and if you were a fan of the first game, then you should definitely give this one a try. Not only does it blend combat, exploration and storytelling in a superb way, but it also delivers an unforgettable experience that will remain in my heart for years to come.

Pokémon Legends: Arceus is the step of innovation that the series needed. At the end of the day, though, that installment feels more like a grand experiment than the franchise's standard going forward.

In conclusion, Sony is delivering just what was promised. No more, no less. It will be up to everyone to decide whether to support or not.

Rainbow Six Extraction manages to create some unique and interesting concepts, but most of the time it often feels like another generic shooter. This new spinoff just doesn't have anything that makes it stand out from most shooter out there, and I beleive even Siege players won't even be interested in this game for too long.

Windjammers 2 is a worthy sequel to one of the hidden gems of '90s arcades. DotEmu has created a top-tier competitive game that may be one of the most exciting events of EVO.

Eastward is just an amazing adventure full of surprise and great characters. It's pixel art and music are one of the best things in gaming during 2021.

Chorus is a straightforward yet fun adventure that makes space combat and exploration accesible for everyone. It has some solid combat mechanics, and the voice actors do a good job with their respective characters, but the story, and the overall lore of the game, are just plainly boring and generic.

Big Brain Academy: Brain vs Brain is a fun brain teaser game with a great multiplayer section. A great option for the end of the year parties.

I am very happy to tell you that Halo: Infinite is the Halo we had been waiting for and that shows that in fact, 343 Industries is the right studio to continue with the legacy of Master Chief and that most likely, this new formula that integrates an open world in the campaign, is the way to go for future installments. Although, the way in which his story is told is unkind to the new ones, I would tell you that you will find a great FPS anyway in case you have never given the opportunity to John 117, and if you are one of the old veterans, then fasten your belt well because a real journey full of emotions awaits you that will surely return you to the most memorable moments of this super iconic franchise. Xbox is Halo and Halo is Xbox.

Hextech Mayhem: A League of Legends Story is a fun rhythm game that features a couple of interesting ideas. Other than that, this experience doesn't offer much for the MOBA world or for the gamer.

Highly recommended for fans of Spielberg's films and, of course, for dinosaur lovers. But if you're looking for a game that really tests your management multitasking skills, I recommend looking for a more genre-specific title.

Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl are remakes that stick a lot to the original works, which turns out to be their worst mistake.

Battlefield 2042 is a solid shooter that sadly suffers from a lot of technical problems, including bugs, glitches and a lot of visual inconsistencies. It's a game that has a lot of potential and offers a fun & team-oriented experience, but at the same time it lacks some key futures that, for no apparent reason, just don't exist. It's a hard game to recommend at the moment, but hopefully it will get better with time.

Despite the complaints and all, the reality is that Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy - The Definitive Edition is a pretty good remastered of three great PS2 classics. Something important to understand is that this are just remastered with few changes, not remakes.
