While many may complain about the fighter selection, stages, and game modes, there's no question that Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls is one of the most entertaining experiences of the year, and I can't wait to see how professional players take this title to the top at EVO in the future.

Beast of Reincarnation shines brightly thanks to its well-executed combat, fascinating world-traveling, and interesting level design. However, its poor performance, image quality, and graphical inconsistencies prevent it from becoming one of the best games of the year.

The quest for the perfect Avatar: The Last Airbender video game continues, as none of the previous attempts met the desired standard, but at least this one made a valiant effort. It remains to be seen whether competitive players will embrace it and if it will eventually become a mainstream esport.

Pragmatism within Nintendo has always been, and will always be, one of the brand's hallmarks. Seeing the foundation laid after so many years of developing Splatoon games , the decision was made that it was finally time to deliver the single-player experience that fans had been requesting. That's precisely what they did with Splatoon Raiders , a title that takes very few risks in favor of innovation, resulting in an incredibly solid product in every aspect.

If this marks the end of the saga that began in 2016, I am absolutely certain that the next chapter will be sensational.

At a time when the video game industry seems to be heading for disaster, Denshattack! feels like a genuine ray of hope. While some sections receive more attention than others, it's undeniable that Undercoders has delivered a sensational experience.

The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales is charming. It may not be the best game in the HD-2D scene, but it is far from a bad experience.

LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight is the ideal way to celebrate so many years of life for such a unique DC superhero, taking into account all audiences, since it can be experienced by both those familiar with the franchise and young users who want to have a first approach to the adventures in Gotham City.

ubsy 4D is not the glorious return the franchise was expected to make after being ridiculed for years in the industry. It's disappointing due to its lack of personality and original concept.

Saros is brilliant from every angle, even if it's not as risky and far more innovative as Returnal . Its highly sophisticated gameplay fits perfectly with beautiful level design and its roguelite structure.

Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream is an excellent return for the franchise, which had felt quite neglected, showing that they are still thinking about the fans. It's an expanded version of what was already available on the 3DS , adding various elements and allowing for experimentation with the Mii characters.

Super Meat Boy 3D is a reminder of why platformers are so special and, above all, the importance of preserving classic genres in their purest form. Team Meat and Sluggerfly have delivered one of the most addictive games of the year, successfully transitioning the renowned indie series into three dimensions without losing its essence. Thanks to its well-executed controls, high difficulty, excellent level design, and overall solid execution, we believe this is a must-play for all platforming fans.

Undoubtedly, Darwin's Paradox! is its most interesting project of this kind, because although it is indeed a title with many more problems and errors than we would have liked to see, its virtues ultimately outweigh its flaws, resulting in an easy-to-enjoy game.

Crimson Desert tries to offer something for everyone. While it presents itself as an open-world game, the reality is that there's much more to it. Although the foundations are solid, Pearl Abyss didn't stop there, adding multiple superfluous systems and mechanics that only cause the game to constantly stumble. While there are some quality elements, everything surrounding the good ideas is marred by a terrible interface, unresponsive controls, and a structure that lacks a clear direction. Like a buffet, Crimson Desert throws too much at us, but each bite is, in most cases, a disappointment.

If you want to try something different with the little blue robot, I think you'll definitely enjoy the collection, and if you're coming from Battle Network, even better. I think Capcom has already mastered the art of preserving its brands, so now the only path left is the Legends series , and I truly hope they revive it.

While it's disappointing that Super Mario Bros. Wonder – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Meetup in Bellabel Park doesn't have a 120fps mode, the final result is still impressive. Although 60fps worked well on the previous generation of Nintendo consoles, having this experience in native 4K will surprise anyone with a suitable television or monitor, and the 1080p resolution on a handheld console also looks fantastic.
