Amnesia: Rebirth is a wildly ambitious horror title that seeks to be standalone and to answer a lot of of questions posed in The Dark Descent. It's gruesome in its style and tragic in its story, and whether the pain will be worth it is up to you.

Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time is a reminder of how good platformers can be when in the right hands. Taking you through several diverse dimensions with their own unique challenges, Crash Bandicoot 4 combines responsive controls and a gorgeous art style to create an exciting adventure. Do I remember the story? Not too much, but the gameplay is where Crash shines. A new Modern mode in addition to its Retro mode makes it even more accessible for everyone.

While I personally wish the campaign mode wasn't something I could beat in a couple of hours, this game is still fantastic. It feels like the developers left so much of the Star Wars universe unmined. Still, the online community will absolutely thrive, and I'm excited to see what Motive has in store for the co-op combat missions in particular. Ultimately, that's what this game is. It's a thrilling space combat game, rivaling many of the experiences I've had in Elite: Dangerous with the bonus of being set in one of the most iconic science fiction franchises of all time. If space combat is your thing, you need to own this game.

While it's a little rough around the edges, Gnomes & Goblins' small forest is chock full of minuscule details to explore and discover. Collect hidden gems, grow crops, and brew fancy beers alongside a chipper crew of goblins. Just watch out for those Gnomes — they can be pretty nasty..

Serious Sam 4 marks the return of Sam "Serious" Stone and his alien killing antics and promises the same chaotic arcade-style shooter fans are used to, but does it deliver? Unfortunately, Sam is unable to circle strafe his way around dated gameplay, poor pacing, and an unbelievably bad presentation.

Paradox took what made Crusader Kings II so good and ramped it all up a notch. The third instalment is easier to get into as a newcomer to the series, offers more addictive RPG systems like the revamped dynasty feature, whilst maintaining that medieval simulator charm. Just watch your back, you hear me?
