A franchise with soul and innocence, along with heart and confidence; certainly to admire and cherish. It’s whimsically charming, while pushing certain boundaries of narrative and character development within its respective arc, all while doing its best to progress and tell a tale of this young girl that only wanted to take a trip to the mainland, but was met with the task of saving an entire universe from corruption. An alluring fairytale, and one I will no doubt appreciate for years to come.

7 / 10.0 - Godfall

While many will remember the title for being an astute testimony for next gen hardware, it will be long forgotten for its poorly penned campaign, lack of creativity, aesthetic akin to a grounded Destiny, and desolate environment that protects, or shields the player from difficulty. If borrowing key elements from a Souls title is anything to go by, than Godfall would have an exponential improvement in its overall challenge.

Yes, a baffling surprise that will have fans confused on how entertaining this game is. It’s no Mortal Kombat, nor is it a River City Girls, but Cobra Kai: The Karate Kid Saga Continues does demonstrate heart in its barefaced approach. Remember, “You trust the quality of what you know, not quantity.”

A resolve that will inspire many to play the title to completion, while leisurely assimilating its extensive lore, and its litany of character diatribes. I will always remember Dragon Quest XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age as one of the best. A must play for gamers that love an incredible fantasy tale, and a must have for the JRPG devout.

7 / 10.0 - Twin Mirror

Whether or not you take away a positive or negative experience may totally be up to you, for I found it to be different. Not bad, not great… Just good. But certainly an uncommon blend of DONTNOD’s previous workings.

Cold War exudes a creative evolvement in its storytelling, more than its existing blueprint. The framework of its successful gameplay loop remains intact, and while some may criticise it – justly – you cannot deny that it works every time; if it's not broke, don’t fix it.

Melody of Memory attest to these facets with every symphony that adorns each world. While it may not demonstrate a traditional exposition, nor does it present Kingdom Hearts in the best of ways, it’s an additional chapter and one that hardcore fans of Kingdom Hearts will appreciate, while awaiting its impending grand finale.
