Alan Wake 2 pushes the Alan Wake franchise and the horror survival genre as a whole to new heights. Excellent game design, intuitive game mechanics, and a stellar narrative make this one of the best games of the year and Remedy’s best outing to date.

Assassin's Creed Mirage takes the franchise back to its roots and becomes itself again. Although not without flaws, it is certainly an improvement over what we got with Origins, Odyssey, and Valhalla.

Phantom Liberty's awkward placement in the Cyberpunk 2077 storyline and a bland major character coupled with a jumbled-up story prevent it from becoming an amazing spy thriller.
