The Rise of the Golden Idol is a great sequel and a very good evolution of the original. A renewed graphics and a much improved UI dress a game that maintains the structure seen in the prequel, but delves into new mechanics and the complexity of the puzzles. I liked the story even more, so I can only recommend you to go for it. There aren't many games like this.

Farming Simulator 25 is recommended for being able to combine realism and fun in an agricultural scenario. The introduction of three varied maps with new crops and animals perfect this saga. Without leaving behind the new deformation of the terrain and the graphical improvements that make it more similar to reality. A benchmark for veterans and new players who want to get into this genre.

Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake is surprising for being so anti-climactic in 2024. It respects the original so much that there are details that become hard from start to finish, but it doesn't matter. When you get into it you understand that its greatness lies in its imperfections and its toughness. It is a JRPG of those that are no longer made. You have to play it.

LEGO Horizon Adventures is recommended because it fulfills its goal of entertaining and bringing this fascinating world to a new generation of players. Being a tribute to the Horizon universe and a good bet for the whole family and fans of LEGO style games.

Trombone Champ: Unflattened shows that Flat2VR Studios has tremendous potential ahead of it. The flat version went viral, but this VR adaptation makes the game even better. But, beware, don't be confused: it's made from scratch, it's not a port to use. It is a fantastic music and rhythm video game with a lot of humor that, honestly, you must have in your library yes or yes.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl is recommended for its hardcore survival style with an open world full of secrets and branching narratives. Despite its technical issues and difficulty, the immersive atmosphere and challenging gameplay make it a unique experience worth playing.

The House of Da Vinci VR is a very good puzzle game and you will have fun solving Leonardo's riddles. Graphically it's great and it's a very interactive title, although the VR mechanics can be improved. Still, it is very enjoyable.

Symphonia is a very entertaining precision platformer that uses music to create a unique gameplay. It is very varied and original in its proposal, and will make you spend 4-5 hours very good. An upstart in the genre that I recommend you to play.

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is recommended because it is able to capture the essence of the adventures of the iconic archaeologist, with an experience that mixes action, exploration and puzzle solving. Skydance's BEHEMOTH is a real madness when it comes to face the Behemoth. The game shines in those key moments and they will stick in your memory forever. It's also very good at presenting a linear adventure that has enough secrets and hidden riddles to keep you gripped, but it overuses too much of normal combat that doesn't add much. Its big problem, though, is that it lacks more battles against the Behemoth, 4 are too few.

Alien: Rogue Incursion has surprised me for the better and is the perfect culmination to a great year of virtual reality video games. The game has a metroidvania approach and creates an atmosphere of terror and danger that gets you right into the action. Although the final part is a bit tedious and the game only tells the first part of a bigger story, I totally recommend it, especially if you are a fan of the saga.

Blade Chimera proves that Team Ladybug is a sure thing in metroidvania action videogames. It is an agile, entertaining game, with mechanics that surprise, especially for the use of Lumina, the demonic sword. The setting is cool and, although the story is predictable, it's hard to find any buts to a job well done. If you are a fan of these titles, I recommend it.

After playing Donkey Kong Country Returns HD, I fully understand why many consider it one of the best platformers ever. It simply deserves that distinction: great level design, lots of secrets, high difficulty, lots of content and fun mechanics. Although Nintendo doesn't seem to have put too much effort into this version, it's a great game and I highly recommend it.

Lonely Mountains: Snow Riders changes the bike for skis and the result is a tremendously fun game, with precise control and surprising physics. It is true that it is too similar to Downhill in its core (tracks and approach) and that it lacks some content, but I can't hide from you that I had a great time and I'm still looking for trophies. You'll have fun.

Dynasty Warriors: Origins is recommended as a good option for fans of the franchise, as it represents a step forward thanks to some changes that refresh the formula without losing the saga's identity. Although it is not a revolution in its genre, it is a solid experience for any player who likes action.

I'm still thinking about Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector. It traps you mercilessly in its universe, thanks to its script and setting. The new gameplay features are great and it deepens the narrative of the universe, creating a more cohesive and credible world, which transcends even the Sleeper protagonist. If you like role-playing and board games, it is for you, although it is not in Spanish.

The Stone of Madness is a brave and daring game, with a stealth-based gameplay that works really well. Its level design and the synergies that are created between the characters you control are its great value, but some bugs and excessive severity in certain moments tarnish the final result a bit. Even so, it is a very enjoyable videogame that uses the Spanish culture very well.

Keep Driving seems to me one of the most unique and original indies that have come out in recent years. It's an RPG adventure that surprises, not only because of the mechanics, but because of the random events that can happen on your journey. Play it, because it's a gem that deserves attention.
