Unscored - Neon Blood
Dec 3, 2024

Neon Blood enters through the eyes, thanks to its outstanding visuals. However, the puzzles and the story are not at the same level, and the game lacks consistency. The setting is brilliant and you can spend 4-5 hours entertaining, but there are elements that could be improved.

Metal Slug Tactics is a curious video game, which brings the roguelike to tactical strategy games with turn-based combat. The gameplay in the battles shines, but the roguelike section has not convinced me. Even so, it is a fantastic adaptation of the saga to a new genre and that opens many possibilities.

Arizona Sunshine Remake delivers and little more. It takes the best of the sequel, the gunplay and graphics, and applies it directly to create the remake. The level design, which is what most needed to be improved, remains intact. Something to note is that it is a complete edition with the base game and all the DLCs. It's good, but it falls short by today's VR standards.

Ruffy and the Riverside is an original adventure that stands out for its texture copying mechanics, but it fails to shine due to several details that weigh down the experience. Although its approach is varied and creative, the excessive presence of puzzles compared to platforming, a very poor Spanish translation, and an unattractive interface detract from the overall experience.

RAIDOU Remastered has pleasantly surprised me. Its real-time combat, its setting in 1930s Japan, and its fast pace make it a unique and highly enjoyable JRPG, even with the limitations inherent to a PS2 game. I hope we see modern installments of this sub-series.

Recommended - Rematch
Jun 20, 2025

Rematch is a breath of fresh air in soccer games, with a fun, fast-paced arcade style and lots of potential. But it's also a demanding game, with complex controls and a steep learning curve. Plus, the lack of cross-play and various bugs detract from its brilliance in other areas. If you're willing to overlook some issues and put in the time, you'll end up hooked.

Recommended - Dune: Awakening
Jun 17, 2025

Dune: Awakening is recommended because it is a bold game with its own personality. It has soul, ambition, and a great deal of respect for the Dune universe. It is not a game for everyone because it requires a lot of time, but if that doesn't bother you, Arrakis is waiting to test you against all its adversities.

Nintendo Switch 2 Welcome Tour is a unique offering that stands out more as an educational and informative experience than as a traditional video game. Its mini-games are adequate without being dazzling, but the real value lies elsewhere. It's not an essential title, but it is a very entertaining way to get to know your new console inside out.

Camper Van Make it Home is recommended because it is a game made with love, designed for those who appreciate small details and a leisurely pace. It doesn't innovate in terms of gameplay, nor does it need to. It's a short experience, yes, but a comforting one. One of those that leaves a good memory without making a fuss.

Recommended - Blades of Fire
Jun 3, 2025

Blades of Fire does not want to please everyone. And that is precisely what makes it so special. It is a brave game that asks for patience and returns immersion, discovery and a sense of adventure that is no longer in style. If you are willing to let yourself be swept away by its proposal, it may mark you, but its virtue is also, sometimes, defect.

Recommended - Monster Train 2
May 28, 2025

Monster Train 2 looks just like the original, but it's not: it takes the playable base of the original and elevates it in a way I didn't expect, with new clans, synergies, new cards with a great impact and several mechanics that update the formula. The result is a funnier, crazier and more visceral game that ranks among the best of the genre. It's a vice.

JDM: Japanese Drift Master has left me with mixed feelings. On the one hand, it has one of the best maps I've seen in a car game and it's entertaining, but, on the other hand, it fails in key aspects: the AI is disastrous, the tests lose interest quickly, and the story is weak and falls into clichés that are redundant. It is a game of contrasts. Even so, I recommend it for being different and unique in the current panorama.

RoadCraft is recommended for its content as a whole. From being able to enjoy a realistic physics system, to being able to control a large number of specialized machinery. It is ideal for those who enjoy meticulous planning and building satisfaction.

Recommended - The Precinct
May 13, 2025

The Precinct is a fresh and very entertaining proposal that makes you feel like a real cop in a chaotic city full of dangers. Its patrol system, the varied crimes and the eighties atmosphere work great and hook you from the first moment. However, the missions are uninspired and repetitive. Even so, it is an original alternative to the usual sandbox.

Recommended - DOOM: The Dark Ages
May 12, 2025

DOOM: The Dark Ages is recommended for continuing to bet on a forceful combat. The incorporation of the shield-saw and the parry system suits it wonderfully, being very well implemented. In addition, the narrative is balanced with good cinematics, especially with a memorable start of the game. All this with a unique visuals and an ideal optimization on PC.

Recommended - Days Gone Remastered
Apr 30, 2025

Days Gone Remastered is recommended both for those who did not experience the story of Deacon St. John in the original game, as well as for fans looking for an enhanced experience. Its graphical enhancements, new modes and accessibility options make getting back on the road worthwhile.

The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered is the return in style of one of the most influential RPGs of the last two decades. It is true that it drags some limitations of its original design and that it needs a better optimization, but the graphics are incredible and the changes in the gameplay are much deeper than it seems. Classic role-playing, but good role-playing.

Mandragora: Whispers of the Witch Tree stands out because it makes different genres work in one game. It's an ARPG and metroidvania that engages with its direct combat and character customization. If you like to explore, improve your character and fight, here you have a solid, long and very enjoyable adventure.

The Talos Principle: Reawakened is a fantastic facelift, with just enough additions, but with impact. Perhaps gamers who own the original won't feel the need to jump for it, but if you're a big fan or have never played it, it's a must-have for your library. Its puzzles are brilliant, but its narrative side resonates even more in 2025 than in 2014 and is worth getting lost in the story.

Apr 4, 2025

South of Midnight is recommended for having a clear and well-defined identity. Its atmosphere, worked in detail, and a protagonist with charisma and emotional weight manage to sustain the whole adventure. It is a unique proposal with personality for those who are looking for something different, with its own soul.
