I believe this is the first time I've played something like this. I'm talking about the remake; I never tried the first version. The first point is that I expected an open world in the style of GTA or, even more so, something similar to The Godfather. But no, I was dead wrong, terribly wrong. Make no mistake, the open world is there, yes, but it's not the center of the game. In fact, despite some collectibles, different cars, and a vast world, Mafia 1 doesn't seem to insist too much that you visit what it has to offer. What is really worthwhile is the story, in which you participate very naturally, as if you were acting in a movie. This becomes even more intense with the depth of the characters and the game's aesthetics and soundtrack! Mafia is truly a work of art, which only fails in the fact that it is too short. The only negative point is that the price seems exaggerated to me; it's worth waiting for a sale. I recommend it!
