Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2
More refined than its 2011 predecessor, Space Marine 2 continues the story of Demetrian Titus in an admittedly epic campaign that disappoints in that it's essentially a rehash of the first game.

Mortal Kombat 1
The third soft reboot in three entries, MK1 shines and stumbles in equal measure. The presentation, roster, and story are excellent, but the Kameo system and Invasion modifiers are persistent frustrations.

Ravenous Devils
Short and somewhat repetitive, but the writing, characters, and world are very stylish and enjoyable throughout - this is a pub to die for.
Just... maybe get measured for clothes somewhere else.

Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor
A great game with one of the most interesting mechanics ever devised. It's not the best game ever, but it's a lot of fun while it lasts. Shadow of War is better in every way - play this one first.

Mafia: Definitive Edition
Mafia: Definitive is a wonderfully realized remake based on the original Mafia game from 2002. It does show its age at times, but it's a highly enjoyable trip to an age not often explored in gaming.

Marvel Rivals
Marvel Rivals is gorgeous, well-designed, and very fun.
However, the value proposition when spending money in this game is pretty poor in comparison to more meaningful experiences.
Its F2P mobile-like business model is designed to bog you down in the sludge of drip-fed content and live-service monetization.
