Shina Shinobi: Art of Vengeance Review

The first Shinobi game I played was Shadow Dancer. After that, I went through most of the platformer sequels, and I have to say this one absolutely lives up to the series. The combat combos are fantastic, the agility sections add a nice rhythm to the gameplay (nothing as complex as Prince of Persia, but still very satisfying), and the bosses and levels offer a solid challenge. The special move feels very “Shinobi”—stylish, fast, and rewarding. And yes… the combos deserve to be mentioned twice. If I had to point out one flaw, it would be that Joe never actually speaks, yet the dialogue scenes keep showing him mumbling as if he’s saying something. I will definitely play the extras
