I wanted to love this game, I know it's a classic. But for me it didn’t work. The interface felt overwhelming and outdated. The buttons are tiny, the menus are clunky, and I constantly had to squint my eyes just to understand what was happening. The tutorials dragged, and the amount of text felt more exhausting than helpful. I love creative freedom in games. I love building, managing, making something mine. But I felt like I was fighting the game instead of enjoying it. It’s not bad. For its time, this game was probably groundbreaking. But today, for someone like me who grew up on smoother design and more intuitive systems, it just felt hard to fall into. I respect and admire the game, but it's not for me.
