Storm Assassin's Creed: Black Flag Resynced Review

The game is good, just as it always was. It has been beautifully remastered, and the graphics are stunning. Many people complain online about the colors, but they forget that games from the PS3 era were often quite dull. What’s disappointing is that Ubisoft clearly has all the tools to create great games, yet seems unable to take risks. They are stuck in their light RPG formula and insist on stretching the game’s length. Assassin’s Creed shines through intensity and assassination—not by being blocked because an enemy has a higher level. An assassin shouldn’t be limited by something like that. Unfortunately, Ubisoft follows its usual approach by adding “content DLC” with skins and extras to an already €60 game. Isn’t it possible to simply deliver a complete experience? This model may generate short-term profit, but it also damages the company’s image. To finish on a positive note, I truly enjoyed playing Black Flag—both back in 2013 and now. It was my first solo game on PS3, and it holds a lot of great memories for me.
