WaDo Ghost of Tsushima Review

Jul 2, 2026
It’s a great game that you’ll want to play, but it’s certainly not perfect. The combat mechanics, as I said, are simple but not tedious. On medium difficulty, I’d say the game is quite easy, as I only died about once or twice in battles. The bosses are all very similar and easy to beat; literally, a boss has just one or two unique attacks and a higher amount of HP – everything else is just like a regular enemy. The graphics are still decent; of course, you can tell it’s not a new game, but in some places it still looks good. Exploring the world is interesting at times, but at other times it gets a bit tedious, especially climbing those mountains. The plot is very mixed, as some parts are rather poorly developed (for example, the parents and their deaths – there simply aren’t enough backstories). The stories of the supporting characters aren’t particularly noteworthy either. Some moments are downright cringe-worthy; I don’t understand why the main villain was so reluctant to kill the protagonist, or why the protagonist is so easy to catch at one moment and so hard to catch at another. The ending, however, was a highlight – it’s genuinely interesting and evokes strong emotions It’s a game you want to play, but with a very underdeveloped plot
