Ninja Gaiden 4
Sufficiently fast paced enough to make it through repetitive combat and traversal mechanics. Zones and enemy types wear out their welcome pretty quickly. But the worst part by far is that the majority of the final 6 missions is replaying through zones and bosses as Ryu, it completely stopped the

Keeper
A decent, bite sized puzzle platformer. Its very straightforward in its design and puzzles. The world is well animated but I was glad to see the end credits as it had stretched its world and mechanics pretty thin.

Lost in Random: The Eternal Die
Its a pretty much 1:1 clone of Hades, and its about 60% there, overall.

Kulebra and the Souls of Limbo
Its an alright, beginner's adventure game. The story did not grab me at all and the deeper I got into the story the less I enjoyed the exposition.

Expelled!
My first experience with this type of game and I had a lot of fun with it for the most part. I kind of hit a brick wall with my progress on it but pushed through with trial and error to get to the ending.

Guns of Fury
This is not breaking any new ground here, it's a pretty fun action platformer with a metroidvania framework. Dodging and gunplay stays average for most of the duration. I think my main knock against this is it has all the new quality of life improvements we come to expect from

A Game About Digging A Hole
An ok, self-explanatory game, but I definitely left disappointed in its actual payoffs and the end to its story.

Things Too Ugly
A short, ok, and simple puzzle game. 90% of the solutions are completely straightforward and easy and a couple require some deeper thinking.

Blade Chimera
I think this is just an average metroidvania. The turning is clunky and the movement is very baseline and standard. There are not nearly enough weapons to choose from. The animation is solid enough, as is the story, but I was overall disappointed in this.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl
Was powering through and enjoying this and really wanted to enjoy it but it just beats you down. The reward for all the combat, quests, walking, and hard work is just not good enough. The game is in desperate need of a skill tree or build path you can take

Duck Detective: The Secret Salami
A fun, quick detective game. Its pretty simple and straightforward to solve, just a little bit more direction would of been better as there is minimal information to go off of. Played on Steam Deck.

The Plucky Squire
A very easy and well meaning adventure game, the story, structure, writing, and gameplay is repetitive. I enjoyed my time with it but it spends more time talking to and hand holding the player than letting them enjoy the world.

Braid: Anniversary Edition
Braid has some of the most mind twisting and testing puzzles out there. I had never played the original, the reward for figuring out the tough puzzles is immense. I think some of them are very frustrating and can kind of drive you crazy.

Throne and Liberty
Probably the best looking MMO out there, and runs pretty smoothly. Its just an absolute overload and vomit of systems, menus, concepts, etc. It is too much to track and enjoy.

Fear The Spotlight
A very average and barebones PS1 era horror adventure game. It maybe needed to be a little more difficult or intricate cause its not very fun or interesting to play.

Quarantine Zone: The Last Check
Like the general setup and idea. But we are just void of design juice and flair here. For being the only zombie checkpoint game its about as basic as can be. The drone zombie wave fights feel like a total tack on and out of place.

The Outer Worlds 2
I really struggled to get into this on any sort of level. The combat is dreadful. The world is 'ok' but it just felt like a game I had played a dozen times already, and an unengaging one at that.

FBC: Firebreak
For where we are with gaming and the amount of games in this genre, there is just nearly not enough variety here for putting forth any sort of extended playtime on this.

Doom: The Dark Ages
Came away from this pretty disappointed, overall. This just gets so repetitive, so quickly. The super shotgun is comically better than any of the other weapon choices. The locales are not distinct in any way and the 'dark ages' setting is basically a concept gimmick that has no relevance to

Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii
I really don't like to be this hard but this felt like a significant step down from the last 2 - even just beyond the recycled locations and side stories. The main story here is awful, and we have one of the worst cases of annoying kid sidekick ever put
