Minishoot' Adventures
A fun streamlined, Zelda, metroidvania, and bullet shell filled adventure. None of the genres are pushed to the limit but they compliment each other well in a fulfilling and fleshed out experience. Played on Steam Deck

Alan Wake 2: The Lake House
Alan Wake II is one of my favorite games of all time. And this side adventure is solid crack at a small story with the Remedy polish. The setting and presentation is still elite and the writing is a little below my standard for them but well worth the short

Silent Hill 2
Undoubtedly a true success and a scary and faithful adaptation. I would probably say it is the scariest game i have ever played, the prison alone alone is a genre defining sequence in survival horror setting and ambience. This is definitely not breaking any new grounds in any of its gameplay

Neva
A simple game with some gorgeous designs and visuals, I needed a little bit more from the action and platforming to fully love it but it was well crafted and effective.

The Incident at Galley House
Just ok is where I landed, the hook of the mystery when you realize is decent and explains a lot of the mystery. You maybe have to figure out too much to get credits cause the elements get repetitive.

Gecko Gods
A relaxing, low stakes adventure game with breezy visuals and light environmental puzzles.

LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight
Its solid, the onboarding and prologue is rough to get through but there is a ton of charm and wit in its story and layout. I could see is if I was a kid that this may be the greatest game ever.

Moomintroll: Winter's Warmth
A solid and cozy enough adventure to earn the time I spent on it. Limited scope and mechanics but a charming vibe and experience.

Forbidden Solitaire
The throwback design and vibes are doing all the work here, It really is well conceived and presented. The gameplay runs out of steam quickly due to how shallow and straightforward it is. But I enjoyed this from start to finish.

Titanium Court
Couldn't quite cross the finish line on this one. The gameplay is surprisingly deep, technical, and punishing. It hit a certain part of my brain the could not figure it out. The story is solid, its a little "lol so random" for me but the writing is good.

Vampire Crawlers: The Turbo Wildcard from Vampire Survivors
Had fun, once you get the hang its pretty easy to put the puzzle together. Definitely got repetitive quickly, but managed to get credits.

World of Warcraft: Midnight
Blizzard has clearly reached a comfortable tempo with the expansions, the differences between dragonflight, TWW, and now Midnight are minimal in scope and impact. I love this game and always have fun with the new releases and content but wish a little more ambition was in place. I do not

Creature Kitchen
Enjoyed this bite size puzzle game, good charm and design. Repetitive gameplay but didn't overstay its welcome.

Mewgenics
Writing this at 25 hours played and 25% completed. I think I will be on and off with this game for a long time. It can be the most fun ever or the biggest waste of a gaming night also. The cat management can get frustrating as can some RNG

Escape from Ever After
An unabashed Paper Mario Like. The story and humor is well enough presented. Combat eventually gets tedious and boring. Its necessary to do a bit of side material before beating the last boss. Eventually ran its course for me but was the perfect length for this type of game.

TR-49
I enjoyed it. Its fun to piece together but the story did fall flat for me as I found it hard to keep track of its characters and their relationships in the text.

Big Hops
A more than adequate platformer that has some real high with its different mechanics, particularly when it goes heavy on the physics. I wish there had been more challenge levels and less dialogue.

Death Stranding Director's Cut
Had a reasonable amount of fun playing the first few chapters. Its just too all over the place for me to stay focused on.

Metroid Prime 4: Beyond
Mixed bag on this. Will start with the good. Samus has literally never looked cooler, her 2 new suits are sleek and great visually. The scenery and graphics are very sharp (except for the place we all know they aren't). The combat is a decent fare for the genre and

CloverPit
Definitely discount Balatro. There's a lot going on but feels shallow, had too many runs end within the first 2 deadlines. But the loop is addictive and it feels rewarding when you really get it going.
