Death Stranding 2: On the Beach is one of the most visually stunning games I've ever played, putting at the forefront a narrative that twists and turns in spectacular (Kojima-only) ways. Action is far more of a focus this time, a big departure from its predecessor, and a slew of new toys makes package delivery that much more of a thrill-ride.

Elden Ring Nightreign takes the Souls formula in a new direction, blending rogue-like elements of Hades with the closing ring as seen in Fortnite to deliver a multiplayer challenge all its own. But with runs inevitably feeling time-consuming and pointless unless successfully besting a boss, and little else on offer in terms of replay value, Nightreign leaves a mixed impression.

Star Wars Outlaws delivers a true Star Wars experience, featuring four total worlds teeming with expansive maps and various side quests for hours of unending fun. Space-based combat and general gunplay are solid with rare moments of stealth that can frustrate at times. Several technical issues and crashes can also hurt immersion.

The team over at Glasscannon Studio really did a great job bringing Land Above Sea Below to life. The passion is there and you can most certainly feel it. Despite the lack of modes and the repetitive nature of the gameplay loop, I still had a great time playing the game. If you are looking for a hidden gem amongst all the AAA games that have launched this year. Or if you just simply want a break and relax I highly recommend this game.
