The planet Kairos stands out with its diverse environments and dynamic interactions, with gameplay supported by new movement mechanics that encourage exploration and open up innovative encounters. Weapons offer great variety with the new licensed parts system, while new skills and a massive skill tree add even more depth to character customization. The post-end content is very good for a start, including many challenges and intense boss encounters. Despite some technical issues and inconsistencies in the quality of some weapon companies, this installment remains a mature and ambitious step in the series' trajectory, offering content that is worth experiencing for Borderlands fans.

Additionally, some graphical details fall short of the high standards expected.
