10 / 10.0 - Forza Horizon 6
May 14, 2026

Forza Horizon 6 proves that it is not just a new entry in a successful series but rather the strongest statement for racing games this generation, setting a new standard in the industry. Through moving the festival to the beautiful Japanese lands, Playground Games succeeded in delivering a perfect mix between the classic direct progression system and innovation in the side modes. And although the graphical leap may not be revolutionary by the standards of previous generations, the attention to graphical details and the strong sound engineering make driving any car in the streets of Japan a unique unforgettable experience.

8 / 10.0 - Saros
May 13, 2026

The experience of Saros is not necessarily perfect, as it repeats the same mistakes we've seen in recent PlayStation games by delivering a weaker story than its predecessor, in addition to some issues in the implementation of the roguelite system. Despite that, it is still an excellent action game, whether because of its new ideas and enemy encounters, or the great game feel due to the visual aspects and its relatively high production value.

Directive 8020 has an intriguing narrative beginning and visual mastery in character design, but it fell into the trap of boredom, repetition, and catastrophic technical performance.

7.5 / 10.0 - Invincible VS
Apr 30, 2026

Invincible VS delivers a technically and visually impressive experience, while also presenting an original story that serves as a continuation of the series. However, it lacks variety in its game modes and imposes a complex combat system that requires a significant amount of time to master.

8.5 / 10.0 - Pokémon Pokopia
Apr 28, 2026

Pokopia succeeds in delivering an experience unlike the usual formula of the Pokémon series, focusing on building a new world from the ground up, gathering resources, and exploration in a distinctive way, while also presenting an intriguing story hidden beneath its surface. That, and in addition to the interaction with Pokémons in everyday life, is something the series has never seen before, making it one of the best Pokémon spin-offs and one of the most important titles on the Nintendo Switch 2 since its release.

7.5 / 10.0 - Tides Of Tomorrow
Apr 21, 2026

Tides of Tomorrow is an ambitious narrative adventure distinguished by its ingenious “decision impact” system, which connects your world with the worlds of other players, as well as its enchanting artistic direction that resembles painted artwork. However, despite its beautiful experience, it lacks technical polish due to frame rate instability and graphical loading issues.

9 / 10.0 - Pragmata
Apr 13, 2026

Pragmata is a stunning masterpiece, and its true soul is Daiana. A character designed with captivating beauty and details overflowing with life and innocence, making her the beating heart of the game and its unforgettable icon. This aesthetic beauty extends to the world's excellent world design, which, despite its clear linearity and the occasional disturbance in combat due to the crowded nature of the combat areas, it still offers an experience rare to see these days.

The Fatal Frame series has long stood as a stable within the horror genre, and once you experience Fatal Frame II: Crimson Butterfly Remake, you will understand exactly why. It is a pure psychological horror experience in its atmosphere, with a mysterious and gripping story that remains compelling until the very last moments. Although there are clear technical issues and some flaws rooted in its old gameplay design, they do not prevent it from being one of the standout experiences in the genre and a fitting entry point into one of the most important horror game franchises.

Darwin’s Paradox! delivers a visually enchanting experience and an innovative story that restores Konami’s creative spirit, thanks to the touch of ZDT Studio. The game excels at presenting its unique “octopus” mechanics, but it stumbles technically due to frame rate instability and control issues.

Monster Hunter Stories 3 delivers an exceptional RPG experience that combines a deep story with a stunning anime-inspired art direction, highlighting the beauty of its monsters and environments. Its gameplay is built around enjoyable tactical combat, searching for monsters and rare eggs, and crafting powerful gear from materials discovered throughout the world. Therefore, fans of the series should absolutely play it and not miss this complete experience, especially with the game’s great Arabic localization.

Styx: Blades of Greed carries a creative spirit that is rarely seen in modern stealth game design. Its level design is genius, and Styx remains one of the most enjoyable in terms of writing and performance. However, the technical issues related to the camera and the disastrous controls drag the game down a bit, making it a frustrating experience in many instances. If you have the patience to deal with a rebellious camera and imprecise controls in order to enjoy a great story and remarkable level design, then this game is for you. But if you are looking for absolute technical smoothness, you may find yourself smashing the controller before finishing the first mission.

Resident Evil Requiem is a confident return to the horror roots that defined the series' identity through Grace's levels. Yet at the same time, it isn't afraid to also redefine its action gameplay, which is arguably more enjoyable than ever through Leon’s segments. Requiem isn't just a sequel to the Resident Evil Series, but a love letter to the series evolution, and proof that horror can still thrive without losing its soul. All of these elements combined made this game, quite simply, the best Resident Evil title since Resident Evil 4.

8.5 / 10.0 - Reanimal
Feb 11, 2026

Reanimal follows in the footsteps of Little Nightmates by being a minimalist, concise experience steeped in mystery. But it's only that, Tarsier Studios was again successful in making a distinct world with a darker and surreal tone, with more excitement and less linearity.

8.5 / 10.0 - Nioh 3
Feb 4, 2026

Nioh 3 may not fully resolve some of the shortcomings of previous entries in the series, but it reinforces what made the series stand out by delivering a vibrant, content-rich semi-open world, excellent enemy and boss variety, and outstanding gameplay that continues to evolve as you progress, establishing a solid foundation for the series in the future

7.5 / 10.0 - Kirby Air Riders
Jan 24, 2026

Kirby Air Riders might not be the best game in Masahiro Sakurai’s career, especially when compared to his groundbreaking work on Super Smash Bros. Nevertheless, it remains a unique and exceptional title in his extensive portfolio, and a rare arcade-style racing experience in today’s gaming market.

Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment stands as a fitting finale to this era of Zelda games. It successfully connects with the events of Tears of the Kingdom and delivers a fully cinematic narrative that the series has been missing for a long time. That, combined with Koei Tecmo’s experience with the Musou genre, resulted in one of the best releases on the Nintendo Switch 2 in its first year.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 delivers a mixed bag across its various modes. While it succeeds in presenting a distinctive story and a fresh, innovative gameplay approach, it falls short in other areas, such as reusing older maps in the campaign and failing to effectively present certain moments in the story. However, the game still has room to improve over time, especially following the addition of the Endgame mode to the campaign, which could enable future seasonal story expansions.

Tales of Xillia may not be the best entry in the Tales series, but it does not necessarily need to be that. It still delivers a charming JRPG experience with its own unique identity, along with an engaging story and a strong cast of characters, as expected from the series. In doing so, Bandai Namco continues its successful efforts to reintroduce classic entries through welcome and meaningful improvements, with the hope that this project will bring more Tales titles to modern platforms.

8.5 / 10.0 - Frostpunk 2
Nov 18, 2025

Frostpunk 2 is more than just a sequel—it’s a fresh take on surviving under tough political, social, and economic challenges. The game adds new gameplay systems and increases the difficulty in smart ways, but it loses some of the moral depth that made the first game special. Even though the console controls can be tricky, the game is worth playing, especially for those who enjoy strategy games that force you to make real choices and test both your conscience and leadership skills.

Pokémon Legends Z/A pushes the series forward in some ways, but takes several steps back in others. It offers a solid story and a memorable cast, yet its weak exploration and limited regions feel like a noticeable downgrade from the previous game. The combat system brings fresh and creative ideas, but it’s still far from polished or fully realized. Overall, the game delivers a fun Pokémon experience, but not the major evolution fans hoped for as the opening title of the Nintendo Switch 2 era.
