Beyond the Dawn for Tales of Arise is one of the rare RPGs that boldly tackles important themes, offering a blend of political critique, personal wounds, and striking artistic direction. Although the second half of the story falters under its own ambition, the game's honesty and courage create a lasting and valuable experience. On Switch 2, this version is not just acceptable, it's one of the best ways to experience one of the most important games in the Tales series.

In the end, R-Type Dimensions III is a prime example of how a remake can turn a beloved classic into a frustrating and exhausting experience. What could have been a bridge between nostalgia and modern standards collapses under poor design, unfair difficulty, and odd gameplay choices. While the visuals and music slightly soften the fall, they can't hide the fact that the game tests your patience more than it entertains. This title fails to honor the original's legacy, leaving even long-time fans with little reason to defend it.

The new port of City Hunter fails to go beyond a simple re-release and remains bound by the limitations of its 1990 original. Its one-dimensional narrative, short levels, and overly simple gameplay, despite visual upgrades and stable performance, don't meet modern gaming standards. The added content, like a hard mode or bonus sections, adds little value, and the $25 price tag is hard to justify given the overall quality and content. It may appeal to nostalgic fans, but for players seeking a complete, modern experience in 2026, it's not a recommendable choice.

The return of Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition on the Nintendo Switch 2 provides an opportunity to revisit one of the most important reboots in video game history. Despite being over a decade old, this version still demonstrates why Lara Croft is regarded as one of the few truly timeless female characters. Overall, this edition is a mix of strengths and weaknesses. However, for fans looking to experience one of the industry's most significant reboots in portable form, it remains a worthwhile option—provided expectations are kept realistic.
