e other. Its creative gameplay, deep customization, and nostalgic charm make it one of 2025’s standout SRPGs. While its narrative occasionally feels predictable and its early tutorial may deter some, these flaws hardly dim its brilliance. Like a ship navigating the turbulent seas of JRPGs, it’s not flawless—but brimming with wonder and worth the journey. For longtime fans, it’s a heartfelt reunion; for newcomers, it is an invitation to a world with untold stories.

Romance of the Three Kingdoms 8 Remake does a great job as a remake. It stays true to the original while polishing things up enough to feel fresh. But honestly, it’s not for everyone. It’s mainly made for die-hard fans of this kind of game. If you’re not already into the genre, there’s a good chance you might not enjoy it that much.

Assassin’s Creed Shadows is not merely a recreation of a historical era; it is a spiritual revival, breathed into existence amidst the feudal wars, the silence of shadows, and the conflict between honor and betrayal. It shows that history is not written by conquerors, but by the shadows. Shadows that may not take the audience back to the golden age of Assassin’s Creed, but are far superior to the recent installments.

While the release of the fifth installment in the Tomb Raider series clearly showed the franchise’s fatigue and stagnation due to its annual releases, the Tomb Raider IV-VI Remastered collection makes a good effort to improve the frustrating obstacles and injects a strong sense of nostalgia. An entertaining experience for fans of the series and deck-builder enthusiasts. While it lacks the strategic depth of some similar titles, it remains engaging and worthwhile. Adding more characters, improving enemy variety, increasing tactical options, and better balancing the upgrade system could have made this game a more memorable experience.

It looks like Rebellion Studio played it safe with Sniper Elite: Resistance instead of pushing the series forward. Rather than building on what made Sniper Elite great, they went for a stripped-down version, and the result is a fairly basic, uninspired game. It’s not necessarily bad, but it’s more of a short-lived distraction than something truly memorable.

Five Nights at Freddy’s: Into the Pit, the seventh spin-off in the FNaF series, brings significant changes that elevate the game beyond its predecessors. The addition of adventure elements, puzzle-solving mechanics, and stealth systems has been well-executed, resulting in a short but entertaining and memorable experience. However, it’s worth noting that these changes don’t necessarily make it a top-tier game. Still, if you’re a fan of FNaF, adventure games, or horror titles, this game—priced at $20—won’t disappoint you.
