9 / 10.0 - Pragmata
Jun 24, 2026

Capcom's bold gamble with Pragmata paid off. A sci-fi shooter that blends hacking and gunplay so well you'll miss it for weeks. Predictable story, but cinematic bosses, stunning visuals, Kitagawa's score, and the courage of a new IP in 2026 make every flaw forgivable.

7.5 / 10.0 - Screamer
Jun 24, 2026

Screamer is exactly what an arcade racing fan wants. If you've been longing for a game like this, don't miss it. You just have to look past the story issues.

7.5 / 10.0 - eFootball Kick-Off!
Jun 21, 2026

Perhaps the name "Kick-Off" itself is a clue: this is just the beginning. If Konami builds on this foundation and adds the beloved Master League mode in the future, this game could become something truly great. But in its current state, it's excellent football wrapped in a thin package.

The House of the Dead 2 Remake is neither a masterpiece nor a complete disaster. Rather, it's something perhaps worse than both: a game with high potential left half-finished. If you're playing on Switch 2, lower the gyro sensitivity, grab a friend, and you can still have a few hours of genuine fun, the same old-school joy, just a bit more flawed. If you're on Switch 1, wait for a discount, for a patch, or to find the original hardware this game was truly made for.

The Coma 3: Bloodlines is an unworthy conclusion to a series that deserved much better. If you're not at risk of falling into a coma, don't bother with The Coma 3.

Yakuza Kiwami 3 & Dark Ties is a comeback that both honors its legacy and exceeds expectations. While the slow-burning start might deter some, and minor technical hiccups persist in the new content, this package houses some of the franchise's finest narrative moments. Kiryu has never felt more human, and the addition of Mine’s story turns this collection into an absolute gem for every gamer’s library.

8.5 / 10.0 - Cairn
Jun 17, 2026

Cairn is exactly what an adventurer is looking for: someone tired of their current life and in search of a purpose, like conquering a summit. If you're into games that simulate such experiences, don't miss Cairn.

The Legend of Heroes: Trails Beyond the Horizon is a massive reunion with the series' beloved characters. Despite its multi-layered narrative and large cast, it manages to deliver a cohesive story. The gameplay and combat are more varied than ever, but some parts of the game, including its slow start and repetitive mini-games, do detract from the overall experience.

5.5 / 10.0 - City Hunter
Jun 13, 2026

The new port of City Hunter fails to go beyond a simple re-release and remains bound by the limitations of its 1990 original. Its one-dimensional narrative, short levels, and overly simple gameplay, despite visual upgrades and stable performance, don't meet modern gaming standards. The added content, like a hard mode or bonus sections, adds little value, and the $25 price tag is hard to justify given the overall quality and content. It may appeal to nostalgic fans, but for players seeking a complete, modern experience in 2026, it's not a recommendable choice.

8 / 10.0 - Dreamcore
Jun 11, 2026

Dreamecore offers a unique walking sim experience, with a strong sense of disorientation and fear of isolation, making it stand out. But if you're prone to motion sickness, this might not be the game for you.

6 / 10.0 - INDUSTRIA 2
Jun 10, 2026

From the very beginning, Industria 2 presents a dual image of itself. You can see the developer's effort to create a mechanical world with an intriguing atmosphere that constantly encourages you to keep going and uncover the final mystery. On the other hand, technical issues and numerous bugs prevent this potential from fully flourishing. After going through an Early Access period, we expected a more polished and cohesive title.

8 / 10.0 - Replaced
Jun 10, 2026

Replaced is by no means a game that challenges the player's skill. However, through its narrative approach and atmospheric design, it manages to stir emotions and provoke thought about what it means to be human. If you're looking for a story-driven experience, this $20 title can be an excellent choice for you.

From the very beginning, Chip 'N Clawz vs. The Brainioids never aimed to compete with big-budget blockbusters. Still, the game succeeds in what it set out to do. With its colorful atmosphere, charming designs, smooth performance, and family-friendly tone, the experience stays consistently pleasant and stress-free. That said, a bit more detail and variety in some areas could have made it even more memorable.

Fatal Frame II: Crimson Butterfly Remake delivers a full-fledged visual and audio upgrade, but the game struggles to offer a consistently engaging experience in terms of level design and gameplay, falling into the trap of repetition more than a few times.

7 / 10.0 - MindsEye
Apr 28, 2026

Although MindsEye was considered a failure at launch, the game has now been revived through continuous updates. Of course, it's still walking a fine line, and some issues remain. However, given its engaging and entertaining story, these problems can be overlooked, and it's worth experiencing at least once. This game will certainly appeal to fans of the action-adventure genre.

Pirates VR: Jolly Roger is a major missed opportunity in the world of virtual reality. Relying on outdated mechanics and graphics optimized for portable hardware, the developers have delivered an experience that falls short of modern VR and contemporary gaming standards.

4 / 10.0 - Deepest Trench
Mar 12, 2026

Deepest Trench is less of a complete, refined experience and more of a showcase of ideas that never truly reach their full depth. The deep-sea atmosphere and the concepts it introduces are intriguing. Still, weak execution, poor design, and a general lack of cohesion prevent the game from making the impact it should.

Project Motor Racing is an incomplete game. The developers have put together each part to get by, not because it was meaningful or important. The game's high price compared to what it offers makes you even less willing to try it. If you're a die-hard fan of the genre, the game might only be worth trying during deep discounts

Dynasty Warriors: Origins on the brand-new Nintendo Switch 2 proves that the Warriors series' long-standing legacy can still deliver an exhilarating and noteworthy experience. Although the silent protagonist and some weaknesses in companion AI may be frustrating for certain players, the combination of varied gameplay, an impressive port, and powerful voice acting gives this entry a special place among action-tactical titles, making it well worth experiencing on Nintendo's beloved platform.

Requiem is Capcom's statement: honoring 30 years of Resident Evil without feeling old. Leon's side is pure action bliss; Grace's side is pure terror. One of the best of the year.
