Anno 117: Pax Romana isn’t a revolution for the series, but a well-crafted evolution of a proven formula. Fans of strategic city-building games, especially those interested in Roman history or the series itself, will find it tailored for them. The Roman setting goes beyond aesthetics, giving the game a unique identity. With the tech tree, cultural choices, freedom in customization, and a polished interface, it delivers a deep and satisfying experience that can easily consume dozens or even hundreds of hours.
