1666: Amsterdam already boasts a strong universe, a compelling atmosphere, and some great ideas surrounding the investigation and Aaron. However, with combat that still feels too simplistic, shaky technical performance, and a very incomplete French translation, this Early Access version is clearly still a work in progress. The potential is definitely there; now it remains to be seen whether Panache can turn it into a true success.

Pragmata succeeds where many fail: delivering an experience that is at once accessible, intelligent, and emotional. Its hybrid gameplay holds up over time, its progression system encourages improvement, and above all, its central duo lingers in your mind long after the credits roll. It may not be the most spectacular game of recent years, but it is clearly one of the most sincere—and sometimes, that’s exactly what matters.

Resident Evil Requiem pulls off an impressive feat by blending modern gameplay mechanics with the grimy atmosphere of its origins. It delivers a particularly dense horror adventure, packed with nods and references, satisfying both fans of pure scares and adrenaline-fueled action junkies alike. The remaining question is whether the next installment will finally dare to clearly resolve the narrative arcs left hanging.
