In the end, I will always judge a game based on the amount of fun I had with it, and I can say that Project Cars 3 delivered nicely on that front.
All that being said, if you understand that and simultaneously understand that Madden 21 offers up a good game of football between the lines, then there is something here for you. If you're looking for Madden to be more than that this year, then just wait until next-gen to see if it's improved, or wait until the game has a big sale/hits EA Play.
On top of the power of each car, the handling felt as precise as ever within an ACC game.
The career mode is deep and fun, and when I add in the online options, season options, newly tweaked paint booth and new user interface, I'm mostly satisfied. For a short development cycle, NH5 delivers a lot of longevity, and even more importantly, a lot of fun on the track. This is a title that, even for the fringe racing fan, should see a lot of time in your rotation well into winter and beyond.
If you're an F1 fan, a racing fan or just a slightly interested outsider, make sure that F1 2020 by Codemasters is in your rotation. The racing genre has a strong presence in this year's summer and fall lineup, and with the addition of F1 2020, it just got even stronger.
Assetto Corsa Competizione is now available on Steam, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
Super Mega Baseball 3 will available on Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Steam for $44.99 USD.
It is also worth noting that there's even more content on the way with the SnowRunner Season Pass, which is included in SnowRunner — Premium Edition. The content will be delivered in four phases, each with its own unique theme and region. The Season Pass will include brand-new vehicles, maps and activities throughout 2020 and beyond. The first Season Pass content drop is expected in the coming weeks, so get ready to brave the tundra and hunt down the wreckage of a lost World War II bomber.
MotoGP 20 was released on April 23 and is available on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and Microsoft Windows.
There is a steep challenge built inside this game, but the payoff is well worth the price of admission. If you have any interest at all in something like that, then adding TT Isle of Man 2 to your rotation is an excellent choice.
Whether you are new or are a seasoned veteran to the library of Wolverine titles, Draft Day Sports: College Basketball 2020 has received enough improvements for me to consider this a must-buy for anyone with even the slightest of interest. If you are concerned that sports simulations may not be your thing, Wolverine provides a free demo so you can test drive DD: College Basketball 2020, as well as all their other titles.
Rarely do I write something is a “must own” game, but I would put OOTP ’21 in that category for all baseball fans and all sports sim fans. Even
San Diego Studio could have easily mailed it in as the last title to drop before the new generation of hardware hits later this year. The fact is the developers did not, and I have found myself in love with their baseball franchise as much as I was over a decade ago. Whether you are into Diamond Dynasty, March to October, franchise mode, Retro mode, or simply "Play Now" games, MLB The Show 20 offers something excellent for almost every interest. This title is absolutely worthy of being in your rotation, and if you are anything like me, the struggle will be trying to play anything else.
The most recent patch has to a small degree helped correct some of the issues in regards to errors and animations. Let's hope the developers continue to support the game and make it stronger as time goes on. I think it's fair to think they will considering how much post-release effort went into the original AO Tennis.
TSSCR certainly has its issues, but overall does an extremely solid job of conjuring up memories of past glory days spruced up with shiny new graphics.
Whether you’re a supercross fan or not, this is one title that deserves to be in your rotation.
Listen, Applimazing wasn't trying to plant Ultimate Racing 2D in the racing world lexicon, but what it was trying to accomplish, it did so on many levels.
Need For Speed Heat does a lot of things right, and delivers an aesthetically beautiful and fun experience. The only major issue is that experience will vary greatly in time depending on the individual. For those who love the series, this is an obvious game to add to the rotation. For those who are merely interested in seeing what's here, it might be wise to try the 10-hour trial available through EA Access before you jump in with both feet.
In a game like GRID, it is hard to deliver a solid driving model, strong AI, deep career mode and package it together in a way that is appealing to a racing community with multiple interests and styles. The newest GRID title will appeal to many people in many ways, and that's precisely what the developers are hoping for I believe. With so many quality racing options on the market right now, Codemasters has delivered a unique experience that should have mass appeal and deserves a spot in the rotation, especially for you offline racers.
The two-year absence was a bit of a gamble, but the new direction has paid off handsomely for Bigben and Kylotonn. They have delivered an authentic experience that has pushed me to the edge of insanity at times, but in a fun way. The career mode is deep, the graphics are beautiful and the handling is extremely well done. I've mentioned the learning curve as being a steep one, and it most surely is, but it is well worth the required investment of time and effort it takes to gain a firm grasp of the overall experience that awaits you in WRC 8.
