Black Jacket is a stylish and atmospheric roguelike card game that transforms blackjack into something more strategic and devilishly appealing. Its core idea works well at first, but limited build variety, repetitive encounters, unclear AI behavior, and a lack of long-term depth keep it from fully delivering on its promising concept.

If you are a fan of Marty’s work or this particular style of adventure game, this can be a highly entertaining experience for a few evenings, even with the occasional roadblocks that come with the genre. Its uncompromising design will make it unforgettable for some players, while others may simply wonder who this kind of game is even for.
