For fans of turn-based strategy games and tabletop RPGs, this is a very interesting title that works well even in the classic PC version. I have to admit, though, that if you have the chance to play the game in virtual reality, you should definitely choose that option. After all, VR adds more depth to the entire game, and the immersion in the adventure will feel a bit more real.

If you like action RPGs and enjoy fine-tuning your own builds, Dragonkin has something to offer you. Just don't expect a game that will dethrone the king of the genre. It's more of an interesting experiment with a few great ideas that could use a little more polish.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons Nintendo Switch 2 Edition isn’t a revolutionary upgrade, but it is a solid and thoughtful improvement to an already exceptional game. Nintendo played it safe here, opting for improved technical performance, greater comfort, and a still very affordable upgrade price rather than bold changes. If you’re looking for a relaxing game that will help you slow down and escape the daily hustle and bustle, Animal Crossing remains a great choice even years later.

In the end, the verdict is clear. Metroid Prime 4: Beyond isn’t a perfect comeback, but it’s a worthy one. It’s a game that stumbles in its open-world design and handling of supporting characters, but when it focuses on what it does best—atmospheric exploration, clever puzzles, and a powerful audiovisual experience—it reminds us why the Metroid Prime series is so exceptional. For fans, it’s a must-play; for newcomers, a surprisingly accessible entry point; and for Nintendo, clear proof that even after all these years, it can still deliver a world-class game.

Kirby Air Riders is a bold attempt at a racing game that doesn’t try to copy existing formats. It’s an explosion of joy, action, and unpredictability. Not all the ideas worked out perfectly—City Trial, in particular, needs some fine-tuning in terms of pacing and structure—but overall, the game feels fresh, playful, and infectious. If you’re looking for a racing game that’s fast-paced, colorful, and significantly different from anything you’d normally find on the Switch, Kirby Air Riders is a great choice.

Pokémon Legends: Z-A could be summed up as an excellent blend of the old and the new. At its core, it remains what fans love—collecting, exploring, and battling. But the way it’s presented this time around feels fresh and more mature.

Ninja Gaiden 4 is a solid return to the series that honors its roots while not being afraid to experiment. While its story fizzles out quickly, the levels are a bit too bland, and the bosses are sometimes over the top, the game excels when it comes to what matters most: the combat system itself. It’s brutal, stylish, challenging, and addictive. As a newcomer to the series, I’m thrilled and, at the same time, motivated to go back and play the previous installments so I can fully enjoy this bloody dance with the full context of the series’ history.

EA Sports FC 26 is a step in the right direction for players who have long wanted more authenticity in gameplay. The new Authentic Gameplay allows for a more tactical, slower-paced, and realistic soccer experience, where every decision on the field carries weight. Offline players and Career Mode fans finally have reasons to keep coming back to the game. On the other hand, FUT still suffers from aggressive monetization, and some game mechanics could use a more thorough overhaul. FC 26 is a solid evolution of the series, but it’s still waiting for a true revolution.

If you're a fan of Donkey Kong and want to stretch out his new adventure a little longer, Emerald Rush gives you a solid reason to come back. But if you've already finished the main campaign and are expecting a revolution, you might be better off saving your bananas for something else.

For PS VR2 owners, Hide the Corpse is a little gem that might not appeal to everyone, but fans of unconventional experiences shouldn’t miss it. It’s funny, crazy, and surprisingly entertaining. Of course, it’s still a smaller title that won’t keep you entertained for dozens of hours, but as a fun little game to spice up your VR gaming, it lives up to expectations.

Kong: Survivor Instinct is a solid Metroidvania that capitalizes on the atmosphere of a post-apocalyptic world and several well-designed gameplay mechanics. Unfortunately, it’s let down by an underdeveloped combat system, frustrating checkpointing, and a lack of truly memorable moments with the Titans. Kong, unfortunately, isn’t the king here—he’s more of a backdrop. Still, the game will find its fans, especially among those who enjoy exploration and an atmospheric experience without an overly fast pace.

Wild Hearts S is a great game trapped in a mediocre port. It offers unique gameplay mechanics, stylization, and a genuine challenge—something that’s no longer a given in today’s world of hunting games. On the other hand, the technical shortcomings on the Switch 2 spoil the experience, and the lack of cross-play functionality undermines the game’s multiplayer potential. The only advantage of the Switch 2 version is that you can play the game on the go or away from home. In all other cases, I’d rather go for the other versions.

Donkey Kong Bananza is the comeback this gaming legend deserved. It not only introduces new mechanics and a transition to 3D, but also breathes new life into the platformer genre. Although the optimization leaves a little to be desired, the gameplay, creativity, and fun more than make up for it. This is a title that should be in every Nintendo fan’s library, whether for its excellent atmosphere, its great soundtrack, or Donkey Kong himself, who has proven that he’s definitely not ready for retirement yet.

Death Stranding 2: On The Beach isn’t a revolution, but it’s a brilliant evolution. It delivers everything you loved about the first game—the stories, the symbolism, the atmosphere—and manages to improve both gameplay and user experience. The “courier’s meditation” remains, but this time with a broader context, new characters, and genuine emotions. As a fan, you’ll once again have a powerful experience. If you’re looking for a dynamic, action-packed ride, you might find yourself craving more adrenaline. Even so, Death Stranding 2: On The Beach is a worthy sequel that takes Kojima’s vision further, even without any surprises.
