The Sinking City 2 is an intriguing survival horror game with a bit of detective flavor that captivates with its atmosphere, story, and technical execution. If you’re expecting a detective adventure like the first game, you'll be disappointed. But if you're looking for a dark, linear horror game with a Lovecraftian vibe, you’ll get a solid experience.

An original but technically flawed attempt at a biblical adventure game. Despite well-designed cities and interesting puzzles, the game is let down by constant crashes, repetitive mini-games, an empty game world, and poorly executed AI voice acting. The result is a very short and broken oddity that you won’t miss.

Code Vein 2 tries to differentiate itself from the first installment, but mostly just repeats its formulas. Fans probably won't be offended, but apart from a revamped partner system, it doesn't bring anything significant to the table. On the contrary, co-op multiplayer has disappeared. The main storyline is interesting, but new players may be put off by uninteresting mechanics and a boring open world. Beautiful music, which isn't even very audible, doesn't save the overall impression.
