Codemasters have nailed 2016 with an engaging career mode, slick gameplay and a solid overall package. If you’re looking to jump back in for some F1 fun, this year doesn’t disappoint.
Immersive and intriguing – By slowing the game right down and also keeping the scarier elements to a very manageable level, Prey encourages you to take your time and enjoy all the details, while also giving you the freedom to approach your problems in a variety of different ways.
There’s a lot to like and the nemesis system is really great but I wish that the game built around it was more interesting and engaging.
Assetto Corsa may try to parade around on console as a video game, but it's not fooling anyone. It's a simulator made for those that want the most realistic driving experience possible. Even then, it's fairly rough around the edges and is only in any way recommended to diehard racing fans who are willing to drop money on a decent wheel and pedal setup.
It may come with some of the best driving physics to ever grace a console, but they come at the cost of everything else that makes console racers any good.
The only thing steeper than the mountains is the full price they’re asking for a uninspired, boring and buggy game.
