Eddie Stubbington's Reviews
A Good Concept for a Mobile Game but doesn't work on other platforms that well.
Valley’s run and jump gameplay is a huge amount of fun when you’re going fast, but the moment it slows you down the gameplay becomes annoying and bland.
Offers fun parodies to settings like Hotline Miami and Delivers new challenges for Trials veterans
The game world is well done but the story is poor. Repetitive missions and poor stability adds to the complaints list.
Farming Simulator 17 Improves over most of the previous versions, but, still needs a bit of work
Poor Graphics, Poor Gameplay but an interesting concept.
An interesting and unique entry to the Batman universe
In Summary, if you are looking for a fighting game on PS4 this year, pick it up as it's good fun even though complicated in places. The graphics are a generation behind, however, this doesn't really effect the gameplay at all. If you are looking for a story mode, I would avoid King of Fighters XIV as it's too shallow to be worth £50 unless you have played the previous games.
Torment: Tides of Numenera is like marmite. You're either going to love it or hate it, but if you love it, you'll really love it.
Superhot is a game that can get very confusing and frustrating at times, but if you persevere with it, you are rewarded with the knowledge that if you were thrown into the matrix tomorrow, you would be able to survive. For now…..
A wide variety of content however a lot of it is behind Micro DLC
In Summary, Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare has a slow start to its cinematic campaign and has an average multiplayer experience.
Ecotone is pc/mac platform game with an evolutive gameplay which allows brainwork and/or skill phases: puzzle solving, inverted gravity, time control.
A unique title that works well with co-op mode, however, the POV can cause nausea
Overall, Batman: Return to Arkham is a good purchase if you haven’t picked up the games included before or just want to return to the games and check out the DLC content at a lower price. The graphics could still be improved greatly but they are suffcient for now.
The games puzzles are well designed each with its own theme and can be challenging in places with lots of ways to complete the levels.
An interesting concept, just not enough variety and can become boring after a few hours
Loads of replayability, but way too much paid DLC
A short but unique and fun game that I would recommend to everyone
X-COM 2 wants to make you work for every victory in a world where playing it safe can mean disaster. At every turn, it's about acting fast, moving decisively and seizing the advantage when an opportunity arises.
