Not only does it feel better, personally, but with the new features added I can say that The Metronomicon: Slay the Dance Floor has a bright, rave-colored future ahead of it. If you like rhythm games but don’t want clunky instruments or pads, this is the game for you.
Not much has changed with Thumper in the jump from 2016 to 2017, but the little changes as well as accessibility options makes it so much more enjoyable. This is one of the must have titles if you care about music at all for the Switch.
It doesn’t really need to be said, but no Minecraft: Nintendo Switch Edition does not support mods, making it lesser to its PC Master Race brother. With that being said, however, this version may be the version of the title that everyone has to have.
There are issues, and there is a lot to forget, but at the end of the day it does what it does well, and that is being a mindless hack and slash title. If you go too far from that, it starts to crumble, much like Beacon Academy.
Thumper is a great game that is unique and difficult. Of course it is a specialty game, since rhythm isn’t a lot of people’s “thing,” but for what it is, it does it well. It is a game of pure rhythm that made me bob my head and try, try again.
It is unique, fun and challenging. Just because you’re great at RPG strategy doesn’t mean you’ll do great, and just because you are a dancing machine doesn’t mean you’ll do great either. You must have a good combination of the two genres to succeed in this title, which is a lot of fun.
Just stay away, no jokes, no clever word play, just don’t do it.
What I found on the other end of that start game button was a title that entranced me, that made me want to keep coming back. A world that is massive, but made traversing simple and fun. I wanted to explore Harnakon more and more.
To me, this game was not good. It never should have been remade. The world is a different landscape for videogames than back in 2005. While Kay had the opportunity to step up and give us more, the developers chose to take the easy route, barely improve graphics, not change the voices, and leave the game as a mediocre blob in the middle of the floor.
So all in all, average game with good party play, wrapped in an extremely pretty box.
