80 / 100 - Trek to Yomi
May 5, 2022

The rigorous black and white style, and the combat system based on "parries" and counterattacks make Trek To Yomi the closest experience to "playing" a samurai movie. It's short, but replayable.

‎The visual facelift and extras added to The House of the Dead are spoiled because of the control system. Playing with a pointer is not funny, and the joy-con motion sensor aiming system is inaccurate and requires us to constantly calibrate it. The experience is a far cry from Sega's legendary arcade.‎

‎Crusader Kings III offers us an exciting vision of medieval strategy, with an RPG component and a multitude of parallel stories. But it's a game that requires dedication and has a sober style that can hold back less skilled players. The time spent will return it to us in spades for its depth and fun.‎

Kirby and the Forgotten Land may not be the revolution some were expecting, but it is still a great platform game. We love the new transformations, setting, and lots of extras and minigames.

85 / 100 - Ghostwire: Tokyo
Mar 21, 2022

A unique game, set in modern Tokyo but full of references to japanese folklore, yokai and oni. We love exploration and side missions, designed as small ghost stories, but combat mechanics are too basic because of the limited enemy AI.

75 / 100 - Shadow Warrior 3
Mar 2, 2022

‎Shadow Warrior 3 is a brave game that pays homage to the "shooter" of the 90s with its unbridled action, shows a sense of humor "so bad that it is good" and has made us have a blast with its exaggerated doses of violence. However, we had the feeling that all the levels were too similar to each other.‎

83 / 100 - GRID Legends

‎Codemasters gives us another great racing arcade, which incorporates story mode, nemesis system and a huge variety of tests. With a very fine control, and a solid technical section, which stands out for the recreation of the cars, the physics and the effects of the weather.‎

‎A great "brawler" for Super Nintendo, unreleased outside of Japan, which to this day is still a lot of fun. Although the limitations of the 16-bit machine are noticeable, its sense of humor and variety of levels make it worthwhile, especially in local mode for 2 players.‎

Forbidden West is a beautiful game, full of epic moments, specially when fighting mechanical beasts. Being a sequel, the game has grown in every aspect. We enjoy the new abilities, such as diving or gliding with the shieldwing, but we also found uninspired secondary missions and repetitive tasks. We found some bugs in our review.

‎A great role-playing game, which bets on a very careful narrative, unique mechanics of navigation and combat, and a terrifying atmosphere. Dying Light 2 is a colossal game that will become a reference of the genre, in terms of the player's decisions.‎

Both Uncharted 4 and The Lost Legacy are two relatively recent games, which look great in the remaster (and we can finally play at 60 FPS). The experience, for those who have not played them, is outstanding. However, we missed some additional content that would complete this collection.

‎A very demanding tactical multiplayer, which takes advantage of the agents and mechanics of Rainbow Six to propose cooperative raids against archaea. At the moment, it has 4 locations (12 maps), which is a good starting point, although we are confident that its proposal will continue to grow during the coming months.‎

72 / 100 - The Gunk
Dec 16, 2021

The Gunk offers a great combination of puzzles, exploration and platforming, with good level design (with nods to the Souls scheme) and an interesting story. It's not too long, and some aspects, such as team upgrades or combat, don't offer too much depth.

75 / 100 - Chorus
Dec 2, 2021

Chorus is a well-written game, with challenging combats and good characters, but it falls short in the technical ones. It gives the impression that the open maps are wasted and the artistic section -saving the ship of the protagonist- does not seem very careful either.

‎A good collection of mental agility tests, with which to put in shape the different areas of our brain. Regarding the games that came out on Nintendo DS, Wii and Wii U, it incorporates multiplayer modes, both local (4 players in TV mode and 2 in portable mode) and online against "ghosts" of other players.‎

‎Twogether is a great debut work for Flaming Llama. An adventure that surprises by the ingenious approach of its puzzles and the combination of two characters. However, it is only one chapter, and has a very limited duration. We would also have liked more variety in the design of the rooms and the traps.‎

‎The nostalgic value of this collection is beyond doubt, they are three masterpieces that today are still very funny (and with a sensational script), but this remastering has fallen short in many aspects, and has technical flaws.‎

84 / 100 - Battlefield 2042
Nov 11, 2021

‎Battlefield 2042 dispenses with the campaign and sticks to what it does best: a deep and very fun multiplayer mode. The figure of 128 players (on PC and next gen) ensures the most spectacular battles of the saga, and we love the winks of Battlefield Portal to the previous installments. The analyzed version had some minor bugs.‎

Even failing at "showing World Wart Two like never before", Call of Duty Vanguard is a great FPS. Campaign is full of epic (and some dramatic) moments, multiplayer is fun and fast, and includes 16 maps (twice as the previous Call of Duty game) with plenty of modes and progression elements, and the new zombies mode is incredibly fun.

91 / 100 - Far Cry 6
Oct 6, 2021

The island of Yara, where Far Cry 6 takes place, feels truly alive. We enjoyed "making the revolution" and fighting one of the best villains in the saga, Anton Castillo. But what we like the most about this "sandbox" is that you could simply go for a walk through Esperanza streets, the jungle or the beaches and find incredibly fun situations.
