The House of the Dead: Remake is a reunion for old-school gamers while introducing a new generation to the arcade classic. If you grew up playing the arcade version, you will absolutely enjoy the PC version of the remake. If you enjoy horror survivals then you give this classic a playthrough (especially with a friend).

Kingdom of the Dead will get your attention with its pen and ink style visuals while keeping you hooked with its retro-FPS inspired gameplay. Old school gamers will enjoy it for that retro-inspired gameplay and setting. Fans of shooters will enjoy it for being a modern take on a classic setup.

Shadow Man: Remastered is a more polished version of a cult classic that is a treat for fans of the original and retro titles. The PlayStation 4 version is also redemption for the shortcomings of the PS1 version. Overall; it’s a reminder of the many underlooked titles that help define that era of video games.

The Caligula Effect 2 better polishes many of the series-defining aspects while also keeping the classic JRPG elements. The world is more detailed and colorful while that upbeat soundtrack is still present. It’s still a cliché anime-inspired JRPG experience in all the right ways.
