Regardless of the hardware, Dragon Quest XI continues to be the absolute masterpiece that last year won a place among the best JRPGs of the current generation. The Definitive Edition was able to enrich an almost perfect experience, streamlining and smoothing edges and potentially tedious passages not suitable for non-lovers of the niche genre

Odin Sphere: Leifthrasir is the definitive remake: it improves the best parts of the original game while correcting almost all of its faults. It is made strong by an awesome art direction, together with an exciting storyline and an endearing gameplay: a must-have for RPG fans.

Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE has proved to be a surprising game. The gameplay is definitetly the most interesting part of it, because it's frantic and really fun. We particularly recommend it to all of JRPG players in general, especially to fans of Persona and Shin Megami Tensei series.

I Am Setsuna is a nostalgic JRPG: it takes Chrono Trigger's gameplay and put it into a fascinating setting. The adventure is brief but enthralling, and the game represents a great debut for the Tokyo RPG Factory, a little Team Square-Enix assembled to create old school game experiences.

The pulsating heart of the product is in fact also represented by the wanderings of the hero through the brilliant licenses Disney and Pixar, capable of supporting and embellishing a fresco so undoubtedly epic but also imperfect, wounded by the gears of time. If we add to the recipe a frenetic and engaging combat system, the final result, in which the two souls of the crossover are mixed, therefore takes on a pleasantly bittersweet flavor.
