Neurovoider is a blast to play. The customization, detailed artwork, and the soundtrack all fit amazingly in this twin-stick shooter. Though lacks in online multiplayer, it makes up in customization depth and procedural levels to not make it so repetitive. At a $13.99 price tag I would definitely pick this up if you're into this genre and have a buddy or two to play with.

Redeemer is solid. The gameplay is amazing and rewards you with awesome moves and gore if you can get creative with your fighting tactics. Everything about this game is epic and gritty which makes that redemption oh so sweeter. Give it a shot, at $14.99 on Steam (currently on sale at the writing of this article at $12.74) it really is worth your attention.

X-Morph: Defense was a blast to play. I never ran into any issues gameplay wise and never ran into really wanting something more. It was a fast-paced, bullet hell, tower defense, and enjoyed my time with the game. I would definitely recommend people keep an eye out for this game, especially fans of tower defenses. They add some great elements into the genre to keep it fresh and desirable!

Space Pirates and Zombies 2 is a great sequel to the original, building on what made it successful in the first place. Fans of the first SPAZ or those interested in a space shooter, I would definitely recommend checking this one out.

SpellForce III was fun to me. The mix between RPG and RTS splashed with some good storytelling, and great voice acting created a fun experience that I recommend fans of either genre to definitely check this out.

Milanoir has a surprisingly awesome gritty story with some slick story cutscenes you play through. The action will kick your teeth in and can be slightly frustrating at times but it's over the top action will satisfy your action movie craving and not leave your wallet swimming with the fishes.

B+ - NHL 20
Oct 23, 2019

Any NHL fans know that the latest NHL game is a must by. There are some tweaks from 19, but maybe not enough to satisfy the hardcore player. CHEL and Be a Pro fans should be satisfied, unless they play other sports games and see the lack of story or depth that characters can have. Even with these gripes, NHL 20 still stands as an amazing sports game that will continue to have no competition.

If you enjoy platformers with a really great art style and fantastic story, I'd absolutely recommend Olija. The gameplay alone is a nice draw to the game and it breaks the mold of platforming rogue-lites that have been going around lately.

B+ - Rust

Even with my negative player experiences, which is actually part of playing the game, I had a blast playing Rust. If I had more time to be consistent in a play schedule, I'd love to find a group of players to create the ultimate compound, helping and recruiting players who have no one and just dominate with having a good time!

Rain World isn't a game that everyone will enjoy unfortunately, and that is a shame. Rain World is brutally gorgeous and an unforgiving world that continues to amaze and throw surprises at you along your journey.

Overall I enjoyed Beat Cop. Many people complained about its repetitiveness but you're playing a cop, which job is fairly repetitive, hell most simulations are 'wash then repeat' type game. Though sure it did feel a bit tasking, it wasn't a game killer for me, there were other things going on to distract me from it being boring. With it being $14.99 base cost, this is something you want to keep watch on.

Oh...Sir! The Hollywood Roast is an amazing game if you're looking for a good laugh and to lose a few hours. Roasting spoofs of celebrities and crushing their soul could be one of the most satisfying feelings I've had for $3.99.

The Thin Silence is a dark story which will intrigue you, pull you in, rough up some emotions, and spit you back out...in a good way. Though it may not be for everyone, gamers that enjoy stories over action should enjoy The Thin Silence.

I would recommend this game to fans of RTS and base management games. It was fun and refreshing, and somewhat nerve-wracking. There aren't many issues I had personally with the game, it was enjoyable.

These little robots, although not perfect, found a way into my heart. With the developers actively listening to their fans, if The Colonists grabs your interest in any way, jump on it. You won't go wrong!

Farming Simulator 19 is another solid entry in the series. With the addition of John Deere and more animals brings some more fun to existing players and new. Though I feel it's missing a few things to bring it over the top, Farming Simulator 19 still deserves respect for where it's at today.

Weedcraft Inc may not appeal to all gamers due to its content. Though business tycoon simulation fans should "toke" (sorry) a look at what Vile Monarch brings to the table. Although it may not be perfect, it's damn close.

American Fugitive is a blast to play. Despite some difficulty balancing issues, the gameplay is fun, the story holds up, and the audio is amazing. For $14.99 you're going to get some solid gameplay, even if you just want to blow through a farmers fence and tear up through a cornfield in a high-speed chase.

They Are Billions is a solid single-player real-time strategy game. You'll get some good hours out of it, and have the chance to compete against others on the leaderboards.
