'Trulon: The Shadow Engine' is a very basic, easy-going turn-based RPG. It asks very little of you, but still manages to be challenging and fun when it needs to be. Despite its console/PC availability, it's more suitable in its original mobile form.
‘Akiba's Beat' has a real personality and aesthetic all its own, but once you get into the core gameplay, it disappoints at every turn. Its uneven ratio of combat to NPC wrangling make this an unentertaining and uninspired experience.
'Samurai Warriors: Spirit of Sanada' is frustrating due to its total lack of challenging gameplay. The game makes several mistakes that diminish from the potential this title could have met, making the whole thing feel like a waste.
'MXGP 3' is fun, challenging game with very reactive play and intricate customization. Whether you're a motocross enthusiast or just want a fast-paced racer to learn and master, this is perfect to scratch that competitive itch.
'Cooking Mama: Sweet Shop' holds up as a title in this particular series, but doesn't leave much for the seasoned gamer. The customization and mini-game constructs seem better suited for younger players who might be learning the basics
'Farming Simulator 18' is ideal for veterans to the series, but not so much for those jumping in for the first time. The whole experience is tedious and really only satisfying if you're willing to put a lot of time into it, so expect a lot of grinding.
'Superbeat: XONiC' is fast-paced and challenging. With a great playlist of tracks and a different layout than you might be used to, it keeps you on your toes and delivers on the energizing content to keep you addicted for as long as you play it.
A worthy installment to the 'Tekken' series, this is one of the most entertaining fighters you're likely to play all year, of which there will be many options. The customization and online play make 'Tekken 7' ideal to take up most of your summer.
‘Poochy and Yoshi's Woolly World' has a fun, adorable look and feel ideal for fans and newcomers of all ages. Yielding the perfect combination of fun gameplay, customization, and creative world designs, this game is definitely a must play.
‘LEGO City Undercover’ uses LEGO's classic aesthetic to provide an open environment, entertaining characters, and gameplay conducive to both building and problem-solving. This energetic game easily has the potential to appeal to players of all ages.
Despite an array of tank customization and playable characters, 'Tank Troopers' is more work than play. The controls are irritating, the weapons are less than favorable, and unless you talk your friends into buying it, the multiplayer is unusable.
