Captain Tsubasa: Rise of the New Champions is a heartful love letter to the masterpiece of Yoichi Takahashi. Despite some flaws, such as a very clumsy progression system and some naive design choces, the game is fun to play, it feels like to be in the anime series, has a great potential online and the chance to create custom team and custom players is fan service at its best.

Project CARS 3 says goodbye to the ambition of being a full sim and drives fast to a safe simcade haven, made of an old-style career mode, car porn and linear progression. It works, it's a fun solid experience and in multiplayer even shines, but somehow the new identity struggles a little bit to find a proper balance.

Football Manager 2020 brings together all the little changes made in the last two years taking everything to a brand new level of depth and accuracy. The management part of the game is quite perfect, crystal clear and the new club vision system works really great. On the pitch the situation is still changing and if the idea of the extreme fluidity of modules and tactics is excellent, Sports Interactive needs to balance the situation with a couple of patches. The potential is huge, but to see it fulfilled for real we need to wait the winter transfer window.

Need for Speed Heat wakes up back the series from the nightmare and it's just like a greatest hits of the most iconic episodes of the franchise. Ghost Games did a great job in terms of gameplay and concepts, but Palm City is bloated of filler events and the progression isn't smooth enough. Anyway, the night races are great and the free tuning is back. If you are driven by Underground and Most Wanted nostalgia, Heat is definitely your game.
